PaddyBricksplitter Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Hi all, The Jurassic World sets were great but bear little resemblance to the movie. I decided to give the Scooby Doo licence the same treatment. Presenting Shaggy's Shark Powered Attack Mer-Chariot!! Quote
Sir Gareth Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) Ha, aquatic podracing This should be the theme of a contest: build something as far from the source material as you can Edited August 24, 2015 by Sir Gareth Quote
Chookdude Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Ha, aquatic podracing This should be the theme of a contest: build something as far from the source material as you can Don't lego do that every year Quote
PaddyBricksplitter Posted August 24, 2015 Author Posted August 24, 2015 Ha, aquatic podracing This should be the theme of a contest: build something as far from the source material as you can Yep, that's the idea. Like if scooby doo made it to wave six what would they possibly produce? Anytime I see something like Spider-Man's helicopter then I reckon the well is running dry ;) Quote
eurotrash Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Pod-racing? Surely it should be Pond-racing.... Fun looking build BTW. Quote
Manx Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 It reminds me of one of the villians from the original show ... Really funny and well-made build! Quote
Jared Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Pod racing... with sharks! ;) Pod rac- darn it! Quote
Robert8 Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I didn't know what to expect with that tittle But it looks awesome Quote
PaddyBricksplitter Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 Glad you guys liked the silliness of this build :D Quote
gavralcraw Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Pipped at the post... waiting on Scooby Doo to be released here... Speeder by Gav*, on Flickr Quote
Xon67 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Always love a good mash up, especially one as well executed as this--sillyness and all... I'm curious, do Atlantis sharks come with lasers? Quote
Vindicare Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Ha, aquatic podracing This should be the theme of a contest: build something as far from the source material as you can It would be hard to beat LEGO at that: Flaming Golf Cart of Doom takes the cake. Quote
Ardelon Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Just zany enough for Scooby Doo. And yes, it seems like Shaggy got some inspiration from the "ghost" of Ironface. But knowing Shaggy, he should have the terrified face here... But well done, it brought a smile to my face (and Ill probably re-watch the episode). Quote
