You can get an anti-glare screen protector to cut out reflected light. Beyond that, you're probably looking at adapting a Light Boy (or some equivalent magnifier light) to make the screen look bigger. A Fresnel lens will probably do the job, but I remember that they were somewhat opaque when I was growing up. Maybe they improved by now. If you want a difficult solution, point a video camera at the LCD screen and watch the feed on a monitor. Quote
