aminnich Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 I wasnt sure how to ask in a limited amount of characters, so I named it that, haha. Anyway, when you decide to build a moc from scratch, do u just build, or do u build the different components seperatey then combine everything later. I had this thought when I was just messing around with some spare parts. Personally I'm starting just to build the mechanism for certain machines. I just figured I would ask my fellow eurobrick friends Quote
LegoCube Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 I am still new to the Lego Technic scene. I build modules. The reasons are many here a few... I am still learning so I need to take certain modules out and improve them... All the time. Taking down half a model is not fun. Some modules are also from online sources and books. Like Ackerman steering and differential. So adding them as a module seems logical to me. I have also limited space so when I finish a session I take wheels and some modules apart for storing them in a smaller box for next time. Lastly, I just like modular :) Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 I'm more on the nutter side - A to the Z and many times back form Q to E Every once in a while I even manage to build a module or two, but then I must redesign them, cause they don't fit in the whole. There is nothing left from modularity after the redesign is finished of course . Quote
