SirNadroj Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Hello again! This is my latest MOC. I've been meaning to do it for about 6 months now, I sort of forgot about it til now. It is my interpetation of a time portal/machine. It came to me in a dream! ;-) Well, more like a nightmare! :-( The white dots are the stars within the space-time continum! I don't know what that means, though. I used some E-6000 (super-glue) to keep the head from falling off. Yeah, its a crazy peice of modern art! Notice how the hands reach out along with the face. In my opinon, the metaphysical permentations of this mass-structure suggest and imply a truly intriguing observation about light and shadow with various modes of demensionality! ;-) Feedback and comments are appreciated, and here's the MOC page: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/37567 Thanks! Sir Dillon Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Very neat. The whole 'coming out at you' aspect really works well. The whole is well built, especially the face. I'm not particularly pleased that you had to use super glue... I'm sure that there is some way to attach it without glue, but if you plan on keeping this built, I suppose I can forgive you. ;-) One I thing I would suggest is to fill in between the head and the platform. I don't think the gap between them looks very good, though it isn't that bad, because you can only see it from the side. Quote

X-D I agree about filling in the gap, but I didn't have the perfect peices, so I left it like it is. Quote
ZeekyBoogeyDoog Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 I love seeing these aesthetic/artistic mocs you make. I think you should consider exploring the potential of Lego as an art medium in future. Quote
