Isundir Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 (edited) Part 3 -Unknown Location- (Necromancers Lair) Kain occasionally gained consciousness, was he still in the ancient tomb? Someone was dragging him along. The pain in his chest was unbearable, as if all his ribs were broken and he could barely breath, yet it seemed as if his chest was bandaged. Still, the way he felt and the fatal blow he suffered he just knew he'd be dead soon enough. When Kain gained consciousness again he was surprised to find himself still alive, an elderly man loomed over him, he felt somehow greatly disturbed by the mans presence. Kain tried to speak but couldn't, the man ignored him as he spoke to what can only be described as the skull of a monster, an eldritch thing from the realm of nightmares. Due to the pain Kain couldn't quite make out what the man was saying, or perhaps he even spoke in a different language. Only four words, what appeared to be names, he could make out due to them being repeatedly mentioned. Nadine Aylith and Abdul Alhazred. Everything faded away again. Sometimes Kain found himself in a prison cell, he couldn't remember what that man did to him, only pain... so much pain. He began to vomit out all kind of strange substances, god's bones what was happening to him!? Eventually a chance appeared, only half awake, aware, he fled... he started running and didn't stop. He managed to get outside and barely even noticed he was no longer in the Lorean Desert, he just kept on running. Edited August 14, 2015 by Isundir Quote
TitusV Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Wow, good build. My favored sections are the prison and the swamp, who are really nice Quote
Schreeuwwitje Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Great to follow the story once more. Love the oil lamp (never seen it before) and the swap is just amazing! Very nice style of building! Quote
LittleJohn Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Great build! The multiple levels work really well here. I think my favorites are the second one, with it's excellent wall texturing, and the top one with the really cool foliage Quote
Isundir Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 (edited) Thanks guys, in retrospect I kind of wish I tried to fill the dungeon floor with tiles (not sure if I have enough though but I did order some new tiles for my next MOC) and I'm never quite sure what to do with the ground in a cave, also in retrospect I could have at least scattered a bit more rocks around there. I am pretty happy with the swampy top and the experiment room Edited August 16, 2015 by Isundir Quote
