SW Ultimate MiniGig Challenge: The Grand Final

And so we come to the Grand Final. The best two fighters out of an original sixty-four. What I'm loking for here is as many EB members as possible to give their oppininon on which if these two minfigs would win and why. Thsi being the Grand Final, I'll give thsi two days instead on one. This means the winner will be announced on Tuesday evening. Tomorrow night, I'll put up the initial thread for the bounty hunter/smuggler championship.

Lets introduce our fighters.

The first is a fallen Jedi and now Sith Apprentice who had a role in episodes two and three. On his way to the final, he has beaten a Sand Trooper, Ep 2 Obi Wan Kenobi, a Shock Trooper, Ep 3 Obi Wan Kenobi and Ep 3 Yoda. Lets hear it for Darth Tyranus.

His opponent is a Jedi Knight on the verge of Masty (or Sith Apprenticeship). This version of the character/minifig arrives via Eta-2 Actic Interceptor. On his way to the final, he has defeated a Jawa, Ep 2 Anakin Skywalker, Darth Sidious, Darth Maul and Ep 3 Darth Vader. Give a big hand for Anakin Skywalker (Ultimate Space Battle).

The Grand Final: Darth Tyranus vs. Anakin Skywalker (Ultimate Space Battle)

OK, OK, it was short. :-$ I thought you would prefer as much posts as possible and not care too much about quality but OK.

Darth Tyranus starts going on about how he is the greatest Sith of them all, and that he knows much that he could teach Anakin. Anakin just laughs and strides towards Tyranus, deflecting Force Lighting as he approaches. Darth Tyranus ignites his saber just before he is in range and skillfully attacks Anakin. Ultimately, even though Anakin is less skillful, Tyranus finds that none of his usual tricks are working. Too late he realises that the stories about Anakins attunement to the force are true, and he trys to beat a hasty retreat. Anakin throws his blade at Darth Tyranus retreating form and the blade sinks in deep....

So ends the Apprenticeship of Darth Tyranus. Anakin Skywalker wins.

Sinner, would you like to elaborate on that. This is the Grand Final after all.

I think this will be an almight good vs evil Lightsaber match. DT will again try the Force lightening which this time Anakin will be able to deal with. DT will also try to seduce Anakin to the Dark Side, which will be sem-effective. It will bring out Anakin's frustration at the Jedi which will make him reckless. DT will obviously capitalise on this.

Eventually, Anakin will take a knee or something which will be the start of the end for DT, who will eventually be decapitated.

Tyranus fights a very proper and orderly fight. Anakin slices him to bits and then redices those. He slices, he dices, he makes julienne potatoes. Call now and we'll include a spare hand for those times when he slips up.

If it was DT vd Ep2 Anakin, I'd have said DT wins.

This is on a totally different level. Anakin now has the ability, control, experience he lacked before, so he can confront DT equally. In addition he is more rapid (he is younger, after all) and his rage has grown as well, and DT trying to control him with his speech only makes him the angrier. So it is Anakin wins the fight, the light-side loses a bit of its influence on him ( *vader* ).

Anakin and Tyranus are dueling it out, ferociously clashing their lightsabers. Kit Fisto leaps from the water and decapitates them both while thie concentrating on fighting. Okay, back to the proper fight.

Anakin goes for a sneaky low shot, but Tyranus blocks it, and counters with a stabbing attack, but Anakin, with a slide of his feet, narrowly dodges it, and in a completely unexpected move, drops his lightsaber and grabs Tyranus' hands. Tyranus, completely taken aback by this, loosens his grip on his saber. Anakin pulls his fingers back, in an old school-yard bully manner, and Dooku (er, I mean Tyranus) shrieks in pain. Anakin swings his fist into Dooku's jaw, and then swings his other fist into his stomach. Dooku is confused as to what's going on, and why there are no longer any lightsabers. Then he begins to wonder why he's seeing little white dots in the corners of his eyes, and feeling lightheaded. Meanwhile Anakin is beating the megabl0cks out of him. Tyranu drops, and Anakin picks up both his and Tyranus' lightsabers. Tyranus, his vision fading, slowly stumbles to his feet, dazed and confused. Anaking ignites both lightsabers with that awesome 'bvvveoo' sound, and, in slowmotion awesomeness, swing them round in a scissor style decapitation, behadin Darth Tyranus. His head tumbles t the ground, and his body falls down a giant hole with Obi Wan grieving over Qui Gon in the background. The body keeps tumbling, and at the bottom of the hole is a pile of sand, with a saarlac in the middle. Boba Fett is about to regian control o his jetpack and finish off Han Solo, but is distracted by a falling headless body, and they both fall into the awaiting maw of the Sarlaac. 3 deaths in one. Oh yeah.

Anakin - Win.

By the way, what happened to Kit Fisto? He was supposed to win! :-(

tyrannus knocks ani down with the force like in the movie but there is no obi to distract him and he cuts anikans arm off again, and ani complanes about how much arm insurance costs these days. dooku is confused and takes a lightsaber through the gut. he then beheads the weaponless anikan and dies shortly after. dooku wins

Darth Tyranus enters the ring and waves to the crowds, then does his special side-ignition for his lightsaber. Anakin enters the ring and waves to the crowds, and pulls out his lightsaber and holds it in the two-handed baseball fashion.

Tyranus is surprised about how much Anakin has grown in the 5-minutes of chasing each other over Geonosis, and decides to change his lightsaber style. He holds it with one hand with the blade pointing straight forward with the other hand put up as in to stop something from getting through. Anakin charges forward and they duel.

Eventually, they get to a saber clash. Dooku looks at Anakin all funny like just the way he did in Epi. 2, and is about to ride down the blade to Anakin's arm when Anakin strikes first. He does a somersault hop over Tyranus and slashes his back. Dooku is stunned with the pain, and falls to his knees, but before Anakin can finish him off he drives his lightsaber into Anakin's leg and Anakin cries out in pain. Dooku backs up carefully and quickly drains life from Anakin who is now stunned on his knees and heals his back.

Suddenly and without warning, Anakin leaps into the air off one leg, and as he reaches the apex of his jump raises his arms with the lightsaber two-handed in a downward stabbing motion, but instead of waiting for his fall, he thrusts his saber straight down, and it goes clean through Dooku's face, killing him, and handing Anakin the first title of Grand Champion of the Lego Star Wars Ultimate Minifigure Challenge!
