tibland2 Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 A small MOC depicting the cover of Crimson Empire III. Not super impressive or accurate by any means,. I just wanted something small with a similar feel that I could display on a desk or shelf and I quite like it. Any suggestions for improvement? I think I should replace all the brown and tan slopes with grey... At first I thought a mix was more realistic but I'm starting to second guess that. Kir Kanos himself... Mostly purist other than the weapon. The torso is Deadpool's Quote
Legocity2713 Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Kir Kanos looks like a really cool character. Love the scene, really accurate to the source material. Great work. Quote
Only Sinner Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Crimson Empire fan, here! Love the build and thanks for sharing it. Quote
Markalus Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Nice little MOC. The use of Deadpool's torso to get some detailing in the armor is very cool : ) Quote
YellowCorvette Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 (edited) The model looks good and I like the Royal Guard. But only one question, why would a Royal Guard want to attacking stormtroopers? I'm not a fan of Star Wars Expanded Universe,so I sorry for my stupid questions. Edited August 1, 2015 by ArmstrongYong Quote
MartinCliffe Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Maybe it's someone disguised as a royal guard? Very cool little vignette! Quote
Ephseb Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Looks good! Now I want that torso.... @ArmstrongYong @ MartinCliffe Crimson Empire III: Empire Lost (9 years after Episode 6) completes the story of Royal Guard Kir Kanos, who is pitted against Ennix Devian and his forces of the "Restored Empire", who plans to take power over the Imperial Remnant from Supreme Commander Admiral Gilad Pellaeon (who in turn seeks peace with the New Republic). Kanos defends Pellaeon from an assassination attempt and fights against Devian's stormtroopers, so that's about it. Quote
tibland2 Posted August 1, 2015 Author Posted August 1, 2015 Thanks for the kind words! I decided to go with an all grey color scheme for the rock wall and I think it looks a lot better: Quote
