Leif Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Chassi, nothing more. Started as a borrowed idea from Sariel's latest Hummer but some ideas of my own have been incorporated along the way. Driven, indipendent suspension and Ackerman steering. Reinforced in a couple of ways but this is as far as at least I can do this. Linkage and all that, it is never a crawler in strength.. Threw in a third axel just for the fun of it! Could be a base for some kind of truck.. Center diff with manual diff lock, can of course be improved. Grinded my first gear ever in the center diff so that's where the weak spot is! Project is complete in LDD but retired in real life now. Just a project on my learning curve! Quote
