Nacho Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I thought it was about time I introduced my work in progress - Sideboard City, named because the only space I have for it is on my sideboard.... It's basically a modular city with a monorail running under it in a loop. I have space for two more modulars (It will be Fire Station and Detectives Office) before it's full and I need a plan B.... I still need to finish bits off, waiting on some light blue grey tiles for the tops and some more platform for the station to arrive. I also think I'm going to convert the Palace Cinema into some sort of inverted corner building too, otherwise it gets kind of lost down there. Quote
PastVPresent Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Looks great! I did something similar with my city and think its a great solution for small spaces. Nice that you still have room for a few more modulars as well as a good size street to display your cars and shelves for the non modular stuff above, very nice set up! Quote
Legotom Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 That's really great. Lovely solution to having a permanent display. Wish I could have this, but unfortunately my nearly three year old would slowly wreck it. Great looking city, Brick on! Quote
knight_40k Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Great use of space, you actually have quite a lot on there. Nice city! Quote
Nacho Posted August 4, 2015 Author Posted August 4, 2015 Thanks :) Had a play around with Palace Cinema and instead of a corner modular it's now a straight fronted one. Need a few more pieces to finish it off. Quote
