Meaning I was one of the first to voice suspicions against Cranebeinn, and Jarl used some of the things I said to support his case against him as well. Even though Jarl’s dead now, I’ve taken a lot of flack for supporting a lynch against Cranebeinn along with him. Even though I wasn’t the only one who supported his lynch early on, I get most of the blame for voting for him.

The fact that after Toki says he’ll place more trust in the town block, he reacts very poorly to the leader of the town block pointing out his faulty numbers of people who’ve been cleared. There was no need for him to become so defensive about that. Just accept that you weren’t right and move on. Quibbling over numbers seems counterproductive to catching scum. Petr has fallen prey to that as well.

I don't think people are suspicious because you were a strong supporter of a Cranebeinn lynch on the first day. They're suspicious because both you and Jafri voted for Cranebeinn on the second day, after Pudding Head gave the town a compelling reason to not vote for Cranebeinn for the time being. I wouldn't blame you for voting for Cranebeinn during the first half of the second day, he was being suspicious as all megablocks, but you voted for him during the second half of the day, when our attention should've been focused on Jarl.

As for your comments about Toki... everyone else who has voted for him has either provided a good reason from the get go or has been on his case for the last two days. You saw that people were voting for him and hopped on the bandwagon, glad that someone else was on the hot seat instead of yourself.

Any case, to the matter at hand.

See, Toki got blocked night 3. There were still two kills that night. We've never seen three kills in a night, so, as pudding points out that likely means there is no SK (or the claimed vig is an SK and there is no vig).

Last night there was only one kill, a kill that apparently comes from the vig. The best way to test this is to lynch Ragnvald.

If he comes up town, the kill bounced off the doc's protection (poor scum. Thats been happening a bit!) or the scum have been doing something else at night other than killing. Ragnvald is, I think, the best case today.

We should keep in mind that there could be very many explanations here. It could be that Dar had the kill on nights three and four, and then the kill passed to Toki after Dar's lynch. You've mentioned a couple of the other options in your post. But I completely agree that Ragnvald is a stronger lynch candidate because there's more evidence pointing to him being scum. We didn't catch him with his pants down, but his belt was off and his fly was halfway open.

Yeah. Wow.

Something's stinky.

See, I'd think that the way the votes have gone looks like scum manipulating a no lynch to save a buddy. But there can't be that many scum left and I'm not sure which one is the buddy who is being saved.

I get that I'm not fully trusted, though I think Jarl's gunning for me before he himself was lynched should suggest my innocence, but there seems to be an excess of paranoia floating around.

Vote: Ragnvald the Troll (Ranger of the Forest)

Or you can choose not to waste your lynch, because the protection is most likely what prevented there being a second kill last night, unless the scum decided not to kill everyone.

Then why aren't people howling for Jafri's lynch as well? I understand that I was apparently blocked on a night with one kill, but people claim that my general scumminess comes from the fact that I post late in the day, which I've already explained, and that I followed my instincts and voted for Cranebeinn. I'm sorry I didn't completely trust Pudding-Head on day 2. And as for Toki, I explained my reasons for voting for him. If you don't like them, tough luck. I don't see many original thoughts coming from your voting process here either.

Unvote:Toki(TrumpetKing)

Vote:Ragnvald(Ranger of the Forest)

At this point I'm completely ok with you all axing me, all I've learned is that I'm not cut out for this.

It's like at the end of every single day, whoever is getting lynched just gives up...

Even if I could change the vote, I wouldn't.. Vote: Ragnvald (Ranger of the Forest)

This is a random change of subject, I can admit, but I think we're rather overdue for a vote analysis.

Vote Count

Brand (Brickelodeon): 16 votes (Penalty x5, Palathadric, Chromeknight, Jackjonespaw, KingoftheZempk, Hinckley, Lord Duvors, TrumpetKing, Darkdragon, Piratedave84, Pandora, Tariq j)

Cranebeinn the Redder (Chromeknight): 4 votes (Ranger of the Forest, jluck, mostlytechnic, Dannylonglegs)

Mist (Mencot): 3 votes (Dragonfire, Lady K, Adam)

Munud the Strange (mostlytechnic): 2 votes (CallMePie, Tamamono)

Tarben the Wise (Tamamono): 1 vote (Brickelodeon)

Tarr Egg-Chaser (Tariq j): 1 vote (TheLazyChicken)

No Vote: 1 (Mencot)

Day one is rather confusing. None of the deceased scum voted for Brand. But why? Did they want to avoid being on the bandwagon? Ragnvar's affiliation here seems to be the most important to know, as it could clue as in as to what the scum are doing should they turn up scum.

Vote Count

Jarl Name-Loser (jluck): 18 votes (Pandora, Adam, Hinckley, Chromeknight, CallMePie, Tariq j, Trumpetking, mostlytechnic, Dragonfire, Mencot, RangeroftheForest, Piratedave, Lord Duvors, Dannylonglegs, KingoftheZempk, Jackjonespaw, Lady K, Tamamono)

Cranebeinn the Redder (Chromeknight): 1 vote (jluck)

No Vote: 1 (Darkdragon)

Day two is a little bit harder to assess, given the nearly unanimous vote. The potential of three scum voting in a row could easily be coincidental, but should Ragnvar turn up scum, it could very well have turned out that the scum agreed to let Jarl do his thing, while they lynched him, and given the inexperience of the scum team so far, seeing them all vote so clumped together wouldn't necessarily be that surprising.

Vote Count

Mist (Mencot): 16 votes (CallMePie, mostlytechnic, Piratedave, ChromeKnight, Hinckley, Lady K, Tamamono, Tariq j, KingoftheZempk, Jackjonespaw, Dragonfire, TrumpetKing, Pandora, Lord Duvors, Adam, RangeroftheForest)

Danr the Dragon-Slayer (Dannylonglegs): 1 vote (Dannylonglegs)

No Vote: 1 (Mencot)

Yet another near unanimous vote. The two scum seem to be all over the place, but Dragonfire hopped on the Mist bandwagon near the end of the middle, a good place for scum to hide. This would indicate that more people to look into would be myself, which has already been done several times, and Tarr/Jafri, who have both been rather quiet. However, Ragnvar turning up scum could also mean that the votes have been spread around this time, making the people at the beginning of the Mist vote (Who aren't already cleared) are worth looking into as well.

Vote Count

Lodmund (Lord Duvors): 14 votes (Dragonfire, Piratedave, Adam, Hinckley, KingoftheZempk, Pandora, Jackjonespaw, Trumpetking, Dannylonglegs, Tariq j, Chromeknight, Lady K, CallMePie, RangeroftheForest)

Kapmaud (KingoftheZempk): 1 vote (Lord Duvors)

Day 4 gives us less to work with, but Dar's vote at the beginning would have been fishier had he not been killed by now. Once again, Ragnvar's vote would give us a better idea of how the scum - should he turn up scum - are voting.

Final Vote Count

Dar (Dragonfire): 12 votes (Hinckley, Lady K, Chromeknight, Piratedave, RangeroftheForest, Trumpetking, Tariq j, Jackjonespaw, CallMePie, Dannylonglegs, Pandora, Adam)

Tarr Egg-Chaser (Tariq j): 1 vote (Dragonfire)

While unanimous, this vote is the one that sticks out to me in particular. Ragnvar does still seem to be the key in possible scum voting patterns, but Dar voted for Tarr sticks out to me quite heavily. Tarr has been pretty scummy himself, or has at least gotten some scrutiny, and this could be a very easy bus situation to make Tarr appear to be town. Additionally, since Day 2, Tarr has been consistently around the middle area of the lynch voting, which doesn't make himself look better. Combined with Lambi's vote for Tarr on Day 1, which could also be seen as some sort of bus maneuver without committing to the Brand lynch, and I'm starting to think Tarr is one of the bigger people to focus on in coming days.

I really want to lynch this guy.

Vote Count

Ragnvald the Troll (RangeroftheForest): 7 votes (TrumpetKing, CallMePie, Adam, Chromeknight, Tariq j, RangeroftheForest, Jackjonespaw)

Toki (TrumpetKing): 2 votes (Pandora, Lady K)

No Vote: 2 (Hinckley, Piratedave)

With 11 players remaining, 6 votes are required to lynch. 8 hours remain in the day.

I'm going over Day Three to see who else tried to focus on Munud. That would be a likely scapegoat to the leading suspicion of Mist before she confessed. It seems most of us suspected Munud though. Lady K and ... Dave ... Whose real name I can never remember seemed to press him a little harder.

But this still bugs me:

Interesting how Mist was blocked, yet insists that she doesn't have any night actions. That doesn't account for a missing kill, along with a possible third killing action that has been missing as well.

He says Mist being blocked yet insisting she doesn't have a Night Action doesn't account for the missing kill. Trying to deflect off of her. He's defending Scum. Why have we let him live this long?

With a majority of 9 votes, Ragnvald the Troll (Ranger of the Forest) has been convicted. A conclusion will be up shortly. You have 24 hours to send in your night actions.

As the sun began to set, the einherjar took a break from a hard day of rowing and furled up the sails.

At the bow, Ragnar and the others worked to reattach the ships figurehead.

IMG_2387_zpscekid9u9.jpg

On the aft, the other einherjar were preparing dinner. Tarr Egg-Chaser was attempting to hack at one of the chickens while Petr Half-Troll sampled the mead. Manning the steering oar, Lauga announced that the feast was ready.

Unfortunately, Ragnvald the Troll (Ranger of the Forest) would never get to enjoy the meal. He had been been declared a traitor and sentenced to death.

IMG_2392_zpsksvha6p3.jpg

"Might as well get this over with," Ragnvald sighed, raising his club.

IMG_2393_zpswa52bcgj.jpg

With a single whack, it was all over.

IMG_2396_zpspcscht5p.jpg

Ragnvald fell to the floor, dead.

IMG_2397_zpsn7hsjnsj.jpg

Kára stared at the corpse of Ragnvald, having just come to the realisation that trolls are actually pretty crazy. She hoped that this wouldn't spoil the meal her crew were about to enjoy.

"Time for feasting!" the einherjar bellowed, rushing to the aft.

IMG_2402_zpsosvjem28.jpg

But while the einherjar were busy feasting, they were being watched from the shadows of the forest...
