Does the servo work ok if connected to the battery box directly?

It could be your receiver, also take the motor out of your vehicle and test it separately.

We do not need the music in the video, please leave this out.

What IR receiver version do you use?

My servo doesn't work with IR receiver V1. With IR receiver V2 - OK.

The music was because my parents were having a private conversation.

I have the same problem and would try this but I don't have a V2 receiver :cry_sad:

I have both a servo motor and a V2 receiver, and both aren't working well :cry_sad: . Both came in a 9398 set. Sometimes, after constantly messing with the wires (I think the contacts are bad), I get them to work, but that rarely happens now. The thing is, I don't think there is any Lego Customer Service here in Brazil, so there is nothing to be done...

I have a servo problem too I have only had it about 9 months now and sometimes it only works when it is right side up or right side down :shrug_confused: Another problem with it is that when you move or pull the wire in or out of the motor it either completely dies or does not work  My advise is to try messing around with the wire to see if that makes it work. Good luck!

:EDIT: while I'm at it and I dont wont to start a new topic I have damaged a M motor

Anyone know how to help. Thanks!

Try opening it and cutting the wire and resoldering it. I did it with one of my broken XLs and it works flawlessly now!

It still works! but I am afraid of using it too much for some reason. Another thing I could do Is just order another one so I have 2 normal and 1 half normal.
