Block_Smarts Lego Technic Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) I have been having this problem with my servo for a year now , I was able to fix it a few times, but I cant get a replacement from Lego customer service because this IS my replacement. Any Ideas on how to fix it? Thanks! Edited July 30, 2015 by Jim Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Does the servo work ok if connected to the battery box directly? It could be your receiver, also take the motor out of your vehicle and test it separately. We do not need the music in the video, please leave this out. Quote
Kiwi_Builder Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 And if it doesn't work I'm sure you can still get a replacement one from Lego unless you've done any tinkering to it. Quote
zver Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 What IR receiver version do you use? My servo doesn't work with IR receiver V1. With IR receiver V2 - OK. Quote

Blakbird Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 That's odd. I have never had a problem using V1 receivers with servos. I have lots of models that use this configuration. Quote
Coola1 Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I have both a servo motor and a V2 receiver, and both aren't working well . Both came in a 9398 set. Sometimes, after constantly messing with the wires (I think the contacts are bad), I get them to work, but that rarely happens now. The thing is, I don't think there is any Lego Customer Service here in Brazil, so there is nothing to be done... Quote
JJ2 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 (edited) I have a servo problem too I have only had it about 9 months now and sometimes it only works when it is right side up or right side down Another problem with it is that when you move or pull the wire in or out of the motor it either completely dies or does not work My advise is to try messing around with the wire to see if that makes it work. Good luck! :EDIT: while I'm at it and I dont wont to start a new topic I have damaged a M motor Anyone know how to help. Thanks! Edited August 5, 2015 by JJ2 Quote

I did it with one of my broken XLs and it works flawlessly now! It still works! but I am afraid of using it too much for some reason. Another thing I could do Is just order another one so I have 2 normal and 1 half normal. Quote
Block_Smarts Lego Technic Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 In my TC7 vehicle it stoped working again, then I connected it to my v2 reciver then it worked, for like 5 seconds Quote
