---------- Start Log ----------

The readings taken a week ago have proven useless. I was told to find the ocean here on Zimunsk and explore its' shores for biomass that may be worthy of experimentation. Unfortunately when I arrived at the coordinates of that shoreline, all I found was a desolate desert.

It seems as if the ocean was here at one time, but it is gone now, and anything that lived by its shores is dead and decayed into odd looking black skeletons. I have taken some samples and will return to the Axle with my findings

----------- End Log ----------

Unfortunately the Corporation discovered that Jacques has not been as diligent on his missions as he has been reporting, and a disciplinary hearing has been called for next week. The following recordings were recovered from Explorer LaRose's headgear upon a recent routine inspection of his gear.

"Oh man, oh man, oh man.......where the heck is this ocean? Why did I promise an ocean adventure, stupid Jacques!

"Nothing in any direction but skeletons and cacti! Oh man am I in trouble, this could not be going any worse!"

"Hey Baby, no need to get out of the Octanabago.....no....I know where it is......just give me a few more hours, I'll get us to the ocean. What!?! Here!?! Come on, just give me one more hour?"

"Typical first date.......guess there won't be a second.......might as well get some work done while I am here, don't want the eggheads back home on my butt!"

*These recordings are now property of the Octan Corp and will be used as evidence, let this be a warning to any other employees who decide that our time is your time!

I hope you enjoyed this weeks adventure, this was my first attempt at a storyline, so please let me know what you think, here are a few extra pictures:

The Octanabago is my homage to Spaceballs, classic movie!

Enjoy!

Great Spaceballs reference! I would have called it in the Octan thread, but Pombe beat me to the punch!

The scene is absolutely lovely, as is to be expected from you! I really like how you capture the spirit of whichever planet you're building on! This is both a wonderful build on its own, but the fact that it's so tonally Zimusk elevates it even more! I love seeing your imaginative builds each week! You really are a master builder!

Also love your inclusion of a story! All work and no play may make Jacque a dull boy, but Octan doesn't care about the luster of its employees... only results!

The reference to SpaceBalls is great and you gave homage to the movie with a fantastic Octanabago! (Ever thought of building one in the "right" colours?)

Awesome vehicle and I love the look of the whole scene because you built such a great big landscape that it really makes the vehicle and the lady sunbathing stand out!

Great story and I really love the hommage. I actually had a similar idea about this for this planet, except that h3 wanted to go Surfing there ...

HAHA, fantastic story! Poor Jacques!

I love the Octanabago, but it's the landscaping that really, really steals the show for me! You are just so incredibly awesome at creating the most beautiful terrain.

Great and huge landscape going on. It really isn't until the final pullback shots you realize just how big it is. The Octanabago is a great nod to Spaceballs (was sad not to see a Barf), though I'm not sure about your choice in dating venues...

Wow, huge build! And all of it is great! The terrain is up to your usual high standards - the cacti and skeletons being particular highlights  Love the story too, especially the implication that Jacques may have been misreporting all his adventures so far
