mutley777 Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 :-) Just had a look at the game and this craft is called Delta craft Dx-9 stormtrooper transport. It looks very like it!! Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 dang, mutley has a point there they look very much alike i hope its just a proto. |-/ Quote
Two-Faced Batman Fan Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 I'm pretty sure it's a prototype as well. I was looking through yesterday and saw that and all excited cause I thought it was real. But then I clicked "up" and it was titled "Ideas, special projects and work in progress". It's a MOC in my opinion Quote

Doctor Sinister Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 I knew that front hinged open...I could just tell. Damn shame it's not a real set tho. :-( Dr. S. Quote
natelite Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 well, i hope he post instructions to the moc. it's incredible. but unfortunately for an official set it will cost close to $50-$60...so definitely no way will come as a $10-$13 set. it's definitely something i like to make and add to my sw collection though! JoeMI6 Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Aw well, nice while the fantasy lasted. I really liked the look of that, would've been the perfect army builder. Let's hope TLC create something similar. Quote

dunamis Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Wow, that is a nice ship. He did a great job with it. He's got some other nice models as well. His ILC is very well done. Quote
john cleese Posted September 9, 2007 Author Posted September 9, 2007 Well as many people pointed out he did have "WIP" in the folder name that this subfolder was in... :-|Changed the title to make sure nobody gets confused it was in a folder entitled cool sets including the official hoth rebel base, imperial landing craft and another i cant remember. He got rid of this folder and now its in a new one. But he certainly had me fooled. Quote

john cleese Posted September 9, 2007 Author Posted September 9, 2007 (edited) i assumed there was just some sort of language barrier or something, as those arent works in progress, they are fully established sets. Which is why i still say it was a really annoying way to set the folder up. But I suppose it doesnt really look like an official at all. someone else was fooled Edited September 9, 2007 by john cleese Quote

Well it's not just WIP, it's also ideas and projects, but we also have no way of knowing if he just deleted the WIP pics, updating only the most current versions of this 'set' Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 OK thats good that this was fake, *yoda* is releaved X-D *yoda* Quote
natelite Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 $50-$60? I reckon it would sell for $20-$25. Well, the ship itself was quite elaborate and sturdy. It looked small but if you look at the details, it can actually fit 4 troopers inside and a pilot too. While it has the illusion of being smaller than the ILC, I think interior-wise it's probably on par? Parts count would have been high 300 to low 400. plus 4 stormtrooper and 1 pilot? $50 is probably right, no? :-D Quote
julencin2000 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 This is a project published in this FBTB post: http://www.fbtbforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=23342 No official dropship at all -_-' Quote
