No, you asked once. And I've already posted the entire thing in public exactly as it was. Anyway, I don't know how to link it in a PM.

No, the only reason I can come up with as to why Lodmund wouldn't give me access to his Writeboard is that there's something in there he doesn't want the town to see.

So you think that Lodmund actually is the traitor and he took advantage of Jarl's link while telling you he was fake-claiming.... rather reckless but ingenious if you ask me. If he is, then his move yesterday with Mist was idiotic.

Oh Thor, you know what? It just dawned on me. Mist was the traitor. All her scummy posts were her way of signaling to the scum to convert her into the fold. She didn't open with the PM to catch the traitor because she was the traitor. Either she was converted the night before she died (and the "we wasted a night on Hinckley" comment in the write board was just a ruse) or she never got added into the fold.

If Mist was the traitor, then why did she ask for the traitor to contact her ??

That explains it to me. I did similarly last life when I was the SK looking to ally with the scum (certain posts were quotes from hannibal, and others were intentionally written to sound evil). I didn't screw it up as badly as Mist did, though.

So, if Mist was the traitor and not part of the fold, she could have said so to Lodmund, whom in this hypothetical was actually scum and would have therefor made the dumb mistake of unvoting her.

All hypoyhetical, but this certainly brings Lodmund up on my suspicion list from "dumb" to "dumb scum"

This is what Mist said:

Yes, scum and traitor if out there be in contact with me....

http://www.eurobrick...on=send&do=form mencot <----

If she was the traitor, she would have asked for the scum to contact her, but not the traitor. If she was the traitor, why claim? It'd do her and her team no good.

THERE.IS.NO.TRAITOR. THERE.NEVER.WAS.A.TRAITOR.AND.THERE.NEVER.WILL.BE.A.TRAITOR. SHUT.UP.ABOUT.THE.BLOODY.TRAITOR.

Why so certain? Do you know for a fact that there is now no traitor because the Scum recruited you?

So, if Mist was the traitor and not part of the fold, she could have said so to Lodmund, whom in this hypothetical was actually scum and would have therefor made the dumb mistake of unvoting her.

Hmm....I think any scum in their right mind would have bussed Mist yesterday after her comments. IMO Lodmund is more likely the traitor and Mist just scum.

My thoughts on the matter are that she did get into contact with the scum.

Oh. :head_palm: you know what? Thus is why I really should shut up. I just remembered the main reason we voted for her in the first place was that the blocker blocked her on a night with no kill. Unless that was a coincidence, then there's no way my stupid theory could be right. Ugh. Sorry for the wasted time. :hmpf_bad:

What makes you think that?

Because the entire thing was prompted by a bloody stupid conversation between Brand, Tarben, Pudding-Head, and myself on day one where Brand accused Tarben of being a traitor based on some silly comments he made before the game and it would've died with him on that day if Mist hadn't brought it up on day two.

So confirmed scum opening up private communications with people isn't enough evidence of a traitor for you?

I just tried to send a link to my writeboard to Agnar, but the link in Jarl's PM to me not only leads to this a page saying that the stupid internet couldn't find a writeboard at that address. Is it possible to delete writeboards?

*huh* ... did you catch the part where she is not Town and therefore that was not a sting.

Meant to clarify and say if she was actually town why she would conduct a sting in such an open area.

THERE.IS.NO.TRAITOR. THERE.NEVER.WAS.A.TRAITOR.AND.THERE.NEVER.WILL.BE.A.TRAITOR. SHUT.UP.ABOUT.THE.BLOODY.TRAITOR.

You sound pretty sure of that.

I don't think that the scum knew anything about a traitor before the game started and where just a confused as we were.

You sound pretty sure of that.

Thank you captain obvious.

Confused enough to take a giant risk in completely surrendering two of their own in order to invite people to chat with them?

Here's why I think that, if there is a traitor, Mist is not it:

But what is this talk about "scum or traitors"?

I thought there was just loyal and scum and neutral in this game... So where have you gotten that from? From the Brand discussion yesterday or what?

Super excited about replacing all the Scum corpses with fresh dummies. That entire back–and–forth was because Mist was excited about getting a traitor recruited. Not much below the surface. Crazy waters run shallow, OK?

I have a feeling that Mist was intentionally being weird to mess with our heads.

No. This is the first time she's been Scum and she has always unintentionally messed with my head. It's just a Mist thing.

Remember the guy on the writeboard conversation who spoke in weird text talk? I think that was Mist too.

Funny, when I first read that on the writeboard, I thought the same thing but I actually thought it was someone smart enough to mimic Mist.

Wait a freakin' minute. How do you know someone spoke in text talk? In the paraphrasing, I did one over–the–top l33t post, but the rest was pretty straightforward. You know more then I revealed, Dar.

You know what? I have another theory. (This is assuming that Lodmund is town and telling the truth about the writeboard conversation). Maybe the Scum were convinced that Lodmund was legit, and were alerted to the fact that he was fake-claiming when you mentioned the "two others" who had fake-claimed. A bit far-fetched though.

You know what? I didn't say anything about two others fake-claiming in the thread, Dar. Once again, you seem to know a lot about what was said on the writeboards that I didn't reveal in the day thread. How weird! I have a new theory: you are Scum. And it's terribly unfortunate that your theory is protecting Lodmund who now seems even Scummier.

Look at Eurobricks Mafia I. Both teams had the same name.

And it was announced from the beginning that there were two Scum teams, so not the same thing.

I have asked Lodmund several times in private to see his Writeboard, and have given him access to my own. If he's a loyal townie, then he has no reason not to give me access to this Writeboard. Even if he suspected I was scum, why wouldn't he give me the link? If I were scum, I would've had access to the Writeboard anyway. No, the only reason I can come up with as to why Lodmund wouldn't give me access to his Writeboard is that there's something in there he doesn't want the town to see.

Or if it doesn't even exist. Again, he could've played along to seem like a Townie trying to infiltrate. But, even if it is real, it could easily be faked.

So you think that Lodmund actually is the traitor and he took advantage of Jarl's link while telling you he was fake-claiming.... rather reckless but ingenious if you ask me. If he is, then his move yesterday with Mist was idiotic.

No. It's possible he was Scum all along and pretending to be a Townie pretending to be the traitor.

THERE.IS.NO.TRAITOR. THERE.NEVER.WAS.A.TRAITOR.AND.THERE.NEVER.WILL.BE.A.TRAITOR. SHUT.UP.ABOUT.THE.BLOODY.TRAITOR.

I kind of feel this is true but not confident enough to put it in all caps and give each word it's own sentence.

Some interesting Mist quotes now that we know she was Scum:

Just a opinion and option: Maybe Lambi thought Tarden was scum and Claimed to be also.

Or something else.

I don't care if I would be in focus or not. Better would to be because I don't have anything to hide.

Something I feel like can't be a townie move is what Crann is doing. Nobody can be that naive, someone called me naive yesterday but this really is. If he is town and thinks he can get away with fishing like that! I don't feel it is townie thing to do so I will:

Vote: Cranebeinn (ChromeKnight)

His name should be Cranebeinn the fisher.

What part did you play in that conversation? I was part of it and I don't remember you having any impact on it.

I just tried to send a link to my writeboard to Agnar, but the link in Jarl's PM to me not only leads to this a page saying that the stupid internet couldn't find a writeboard at that address. Is it possible to delete writeboards?

Yes. Oddly enough though, mine is still there. So is Agnar's.

Again, I did tell everyone about it in public. Are you seriously not paying any attention to what's going on around you? Not everything is about you.

Oh, right. Sorry

No. He is saying that the Scum stopped talking to you because I said there were two other fake claims. I didn't say that ever and you revealed later what your board said. So, your defense of Dar is not valid, but interesting that you did come to his defense. Twice. The Scum couldn't know both other claims were "fake" and stop talking to you before you revealed that your claim was fake (or as Dar is suggesting, I said it, because I didn't) unless you're Scum with them.

When Jarl threw you the potato containing the Writeboard, what did he say? Send me the link and any other information he may have given you. In our conversation, you told me that Jarl confessed to being the scum killer, saying that he killed Patrekr on night one. How did he tell you this, and why?

No, you asked once. And I've already posted the entire thing in public exactly as it was. Anyway, I don't know how to link it in a PM.

Then why didn't you say anything to me? To some extent I can understand not messaging me earlier because you didn't trust me, but when I asked you for the Writeboard, you didn't respond at all. You could've told me that you were having trouble sending the link, that you were having difficulty accessing it, that you thought it was redundant because you'd posted it in public, or even that you didn't trust me enough to send it, but you said nothing at all.

"Oh, you're the traitor? Here's a link to a writeboard. I killed Patrekr."

That's how it went, huh?

I'm growing confident that there never was a Writeboard. Lodmund just tried and failed to send me a link to an EB conversation, which clearly I wouldn't be allowed access to.

You know what? I've decided that holding back information won't help our cause. When jluck outed himself on day two I contacted him and claimed traitor. also contacted Agnar and she said that she was going to do the same. I was then forwarded by jluck to a scum writeboard where this happened;

Scum one: hey duvors r u rly te traitor or sre you just lyign to us? if u r then u can join us now :):):):):):):):)

number two: so currently, we believe your traitor claim and plan to recall you to our team in short notice. however, you need to convince us that you're not a lying townie. speak up, please!

Me: And how am I to do this exactly? You have only my word for anything I say you know.

number two: well, you can tell us what tpru said to you in your role pm. for example, what word did he use to describe your role - was it "traitor" or something else? and what exactly did he tell you would happen with us recruiting you - what would you have to do to get recruited?

Me: He did indeed call the role traitor, and said I would have to find and contact the corrupted to be recruited, I'm paraphrasing of corse.

princess consuela: How can we trust are true? Do you have any information to share here that can verify you with us?

Me: What information canI possibly have?

scummo:seems legit, maybe you are telling the truth

Princess consuela...: Share whatever you think is pertinent

Me: Okay, tell me, have you been contacted by Agnar Skull-crusher?

Mafioso: Yes. Have you, and what did she say?

Me: I spoke to her earlier, and she said that she was thinking of contacting you and claiming traitor to, and I quote, 'make them waste a night acton on me'.

It was at this point that Mist claimed scum and asked for traitor claimants, I was confused. The scum already had at least two people claiming traitor on them, why would they ask for more? I voted for Mist, and then I contacted her and asked if this was all for real. Mist said yes, and asked if I was the traitor. This didn't make sense, as it seemed to show that she was unaware of my conversation with the scum up to this point, so I went back to the writeboard;

Me: Is Mencot for real? Seriously? Because if so this is utterly ridiculous.

Mafioso: However real Mencot is or isin't, it's clear now that YOU'RE not for real! Have fun plotting with the town, we can't trust you anymore. You should have told Hinck not to mention your name in-thread so you could carry on with your sting.

Me: Huh? What? I havn't been in contact with Pudding head, what the hell?

When did you post your last message in this supposed Writeboard prior to Mencot claiming scum?

Posted

@Agnar: but weren't you part of the write board? Or am I mistaken?

I was saying that Lodmund never had a Writeboard. Pudding Head and I each received unique Writeboards that allowed us to contact the scum team.
