lego.ryan Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I already posted these in the PotC custom figures thread, but I want to see what other people think. :-D The first is Elizabeth on Isla Cruces, boy clothes, dual swords, bicorne hat, and all. The hairpiece is a reddish-brown Hermione hair with the top cut off, and the belt is an official LEGO rubber band. Isla Cruces: Front: Back: The second is Liz in Singapore, with her green bathrobe and straw hat (what is the official name for these?!). Singapore: Boat: No Boat: Tell me what you think! :-$ Quote
ZeekyBoogeyDoog Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 You did a great job cutting the hair *y*! I would never do this myself, I am afraid of irreparably damaging Lego. Quote

I wasn't too fussed about cutting the hair, I have so many brown and reddish-brown Hermione hairpieces it's not even funny. :-D Quote

Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted September 8, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted September 8, 2007 Mr Bonaparte, these are official printed LEGO torsos ;-) Well have you ever... :-D It's the first time I see these. I was already amazed how professional these were "printed". I must get my hands on that first torso, I'll check BL right away. Quote
SirScottLego Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 I think this simply goes to show you can make fantastic minifigs with existing torso designs... Sometime I find myself shooting beyond the mark and thinking I have to create something from scratch when that just isn't true... Great work lego.ryan! Quote

Mr Bonaparte, these are official printed LEGO torsos ;-) Nonetheless, your Custom Elizabeths are very nice Ryan! I never would have though of the HP goblin torso for her. Good work! Thank you! Yeah, I bought the whole Gringotts set off of ebay just for that one torso before I discovered the magic of Bricklink. Sometime I find myself shooting beyond the mark and thinking I have to create something from scratch when that just isn't true... Great work lego.ryan! Thanks! I've never used decals before, so I don't really know. Sometimes you just have to think and look really hard to find the right torso. Or, you could just buy them off of Bricklink. :-$ Quote
