Making Custom Keyrings

Hello There,

First time post so hopefully I've put this in the right place. I'm getting married this summer and as we're big geeks and love lego we were thinking of providing as our wedding favours a booth where people could make minifigs of themselves. There would be a number of boxes of different legs, torsos, heads, hair/hats, etc and people could spend a little while either making a minifig that looks like themselves or just some stupidly silly creation. This part we can do easily as there are a number of auctions on eBay selling bulk loads of minifig pieces.

The harder part is that as we wanted the favour to be something that people kept hold of rather than just throwing it away in a couple of months because it's just lying about the place. So we were thinking that somewhere out there must be a site where you can buy a keychain with a thin loop that goes over the minifig neck with the head going on top of that to hold it in place (and probably all stuck together with some polystyrene cement to make it permanent). However it doesn't matter which search terms I put into google all I can find are pre-made minifig keyrings.

Does anyone know of anywhere that would sell a keyring chain that would work for creating custom keyrings?

You could take a look in a bead or craft shop and see what supplies they have.
