DuckBricks Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I like the phrasing of "did the right thing and posted the full images". Considering that leaking confidential images in the first place is a far cry from "doing the right thing"... My thinking is that if he's going to leak the images, why not just leak them as a whole instead of stringing people along to gain popularity by posting fragments. In this case, if he's decided to post images at all, the right thing to do is to post all of them at once, not just parts. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Honestly, i can wait to see pictures. The drawings give us a good idea, but they don't cover everything. Sure the guy is getting attention for this, but with toy fairs coming, it's a waste of his time to draw. Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) Same. This is the problem with Ninjago's fan base being predominantly made up of children; all the other theme leaks were leaked by adults who did the right thing and posted the full images, while the Ninjago leaks are being posted in snippets by some kid (not NinjaJayNuva, he's just retweeting them) just to gain attention (which, sadly, he is). The guy who has the images, and the guy I talked to, are both adults. They're posting snippets to avoid getting caught, I guess? Which doesn't seem to make sense. I wouldn't say adults did the right thing, I withheld posting images for a pretty long time. Again, one more day and we'll have vague descriptions. Edited January 23, 2016 by CM4Sci Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 So, shall we talk about sets instead of potential drawings of possible leaks? Quote

Eh, IMO posting snippets (more images than what they would post normally if they posted the full pics) seems that they are more likely to be caught, so I agree. I'll just wait for Brickset's often stellar descriptions tomorrow. Quote

Falconfan1414 Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I hope we get that Zane minifigure from that epiosde in the light house set Quote
Aanchir Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Whoa, the new Ultra Sonic Raider now splits into FOUR vehicles? Not just two? Now THAT'S exciting, if true! Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 Looking at the prices I kinda feeling like the Kryptorium Prison will be like the Dojo Showdown in size. It just seems to have alot of Minifigures for a set that small. Quote
Rookie875 Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Wow they were so descriptive for Ninjago Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Wow they were so descriptive for Ninjago I was told they were a little rushed, so that's probably the reason behind the really bad and vague descriptions for all sets. Quote
PickleManDan Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Hopefully Brickset will have better descriptions later on today. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 sets are not cheap (as oppose to wave 1). Probably a healthy number of bricks, with good details and design, I am afraid lot of them will be very tempting... Quote
PickleManDan Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I just realized there is no price for the Samurai-X cave. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I just realized there is no price for the Samurai-X cave. maybe 100 pounds 120 $ ? Quote
PickleManDan Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 maybe 100 pounds 120 $ ? That seems about right. Quote
azog Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 where is the temple of airjitzu grounds set? Quote

I'm gonna be paying for probably all of these just from what I've seen in prelims Quote
EdWebhead Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Seems like an interesting list, and the whole concept of villains returning is intriguing. I was thinking about this for a bit and I thought, could this be the end of Ninjago as we know it? Villains returning and teaming up sounds like something for a grand finale. I'm not saying Ninjago is going to end, but this could be the end for TV show sets as the movie is coming next year, most likely resulting in a major shift to the theme. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 My guess is maybe one more wave after the summer one,for Winter 2017. And if anything a contiuation of the summer wave. I wouldnt be aurprised to see th overlord back again in 2017, while I'm not rooting for it, it's probable. The summer for 2017 will be geared for the movie, and probably a story change for the show. A next generation story more than likey. Quote
