Athos Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 Great moments in Lego history continues with the Wright Brothers' historic flight near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on December 17, 1903: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1319/131715...5e1d61d.jpg?v=0 The whole flighty gallery (on flickr shudder): http://www.flickr.com/photos/12652030@N06/...57601843577218/ This was my first attempt at a mini-scale vehicle of any sort, so I'm interested in feed back. Also, a couple weeks ago, I had the chance to visit Kitty Hawk and see the the real field where the Wright Brothers flew. I'm standing at the lift-off point and those white markers show where each of the 4 flights landed: http://www.maj.com/gallery/Athos/CrossCountry/kittyhawk2.jpg And I also visited the Smithsonian and was able to see the real Wright Flyer: http://www.maj.com/gallery/Athos/CrossCoun...wrightflyer.jpg Steve Quote
