captaintau Posted September 5, 2007 Author Posted September 5, 2007 So it seems pretty conclusive that Obi Wan loses this match and that now all versions of Obi Wan are out of the contest. Darthy T advances to the Semi Finals The next match is another Jedi vs Sith (these Random draws came out pretty good). Featuring first, fresh from win slaughter of Mace Windu in round 3, its Master Kit Fisto. And his opponent, frshly converted to the Sith, its Darth Vader. Quarter Final 3: Kit Fisto vs. Darth Vader (Ultimate Lightsaber Duel) Quote
Piranha Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Darth Vader wins this match for being at his most powerful Kit Fisto is a jedi master but doesn't stand a chance Shame..... Piranha Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 hmm hard decision both of my favorite minfigs here hmmmm :-/ ill say dath vader that squishy-ness just doesnt cut it any more for me |-/ Quote
jifel Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 kit fisto is green squishy 360 degrees, while vader cant block an attack, andis cut down jifel Quote
Shadows Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Darth's head spins loose, he can't control his sabre properly, and he still kicks Kit's megabloks just using the force. Quote
captaintau Posted September 6, 2007 Author Posted September 6, 2007 Its a tough call. Kit Fisto is legendary Lightsaber master, yet DV is about at his most powerful. He even slays another Lightsaber master in the Jedi Temple. OK, Kit is more powerful than Obi Wan. He only died by being caught unawares by DS. For this match and this match alone, I'm gonna ignore the whole LULS thing and vote for Darth Vader. I know its an about turn for me, for its really that close. Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I was going for Vader too, he is much more powerful, although he is pretty stupid in some cases. All Kit needs to do is take the high ground! Lol, but Vader just needs to make a swift saber move to take Kit out. Vader wins! Quote
SupremeCommmanderGrievous Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Even if Kit Fisto has a 360 lightsaber and *vader* only has a LULS, This is *vader* at his very strongest. Even if Fisto is an amazing fighter and has a much better hand, *vader* can easily defeat him with the force. End of battle. Quote
captaintau Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 So our latest addition to the LEGO Jedi ranks topples. Kit Fisto is out. Darth Vader progresses to the semi finals, and what matches they promise to be. Yet again we have Sith vs. Jedi in our fourth and therefore final quarter final. Featuring first the Iridonian Sith Apprentice, arriving by Sith Infiltrator, its Darth Maul. And his opponent, a human Jedi Knight arriving by Eta-2 Actis Interceptor, its Anakin Skywalker. Quarter Final 4: Darth Maul (Sith Infiltrator) vs. Anakin Skywalker (Ultimate Space Battle) Quote
captaintau Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 jifel, that's rubblish (see look, starting some debate. Should have done this round 1.) Anakin has been trained by the guy that killed Darthy M. He's one of the most powerful Jedi ever. Maul's got no chance whatsoever. Quote
Piranha Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Lets see Qui Gon got killed by DM Obi killed DM Anakin was trained by Obi DM would put up a good fight but no match for a Jedi almost master Anakin wins Piranha Quote
Corvus Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Hmm, this could go either way, actually. Obi suprised Maul. Maul took on two good jedi, killed one, and kicked the other off of the ledge, even if he bounced back unexpectedly and cut him in half. Yet, he is a loaded weapon, not a "real" sith lord. Anakin, on the other hand, has received proper jedi training. I'll say Maul on this. Why? Maul IS undoubtably good. So is anakin. We've never seen them fight each other, and it is hard to compare. We DO know Maul fought a Jedi Master and his great-jedi-in-training, and won (if only for a short while). Quote
Shadows Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Anakin/Vader was the strongest apprentice Sidious ever had, and he was more powerful than Sidious, had he ever set his mind to it. Defeating Maul is almost a joke. Despite his turn to the dark side, Anakin looked up to Qui Gon. If for no other reason than pure revenge, he would unleash a beat down on Maul that would probably make the Texas Chainsaw Massacre look like a kiddie movie. Quote
jifel Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 the guy that''killed'' maul also defeated anikan easily jifel Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 So that means... Nothing. Anyways, I think Anakin can win chiefly because he has more hatred. Maul has less, and even less because he's fighting a Sith, not a Jedi, whom he hates more than anybody. I'd say Anakin wins because he still hates the Sith but he doesn't really know what he's become and he also hates the Jedi so Anakin wins. Quote
captaintau Posted September 8, 2007 Author Posted September 8, 2007 I make it 4-2 to Anakin, which makes the semi finals very interesting indeed. That match concluded the quarter finals, so we're straight on to the semi finals. Just two matches, and then the grand final. I'm keep the intro short. Jedi Master vs. Fallen Jedi. How's that. Semi Final 1: Yoda (Wookiee Catamaran) vs. Darth Tyranus A rematch? Almost. Please think carefully about these minifigs Quote
Corvus Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 So that means Yoda has his stick. Woo. Yoda manages to Force Poke Darth Tyranus, and uses the force to try to take Tyranus's lightsaber away. Tyranus resists, and sends a blast of force lighting at our little friend. Yoda uses his hand technique thing to "catch" the lighting, and sends it back toward Tyranus. Tyranus, still half blinded by Yoda's Force Poke, fails to block it and is hit in the chest by his own lighting. Tyranus is getting on age. The blast doesn't do much for him. Yoda Force pushes his lightsaber away, and sends his stick at Tyranus, bashing, poking, and whacking him. Humiliated, Tyranus manages to hop aboard his speeder and get away, leaving a triumphant Yoda. Even without his lightsaber, Yoda is still very formidable. Plus, he's got about 850 years of experience. Also, Yoda knows Tyranus's moves, since he taught him. Quote
Shadows Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Two aging masters who've met before with fairly poor results for Yoda. Stick vs sabre. After a long annoying battle featuring a lot of jumping around by Yoda, Tyranus finally manages to put an end to the bouncing once and for all. Sorry, but today we order an extra small coffin for our little green friend. Quote

captaintau Posted September 8, 2007 Author Posted September 8, 2007 Another vote for Tyranus. We've seen that they can match each other with the Force, though I give the edge here to Yoda. Tyranus' Lightsaber skills are formidable and more suited to the types of match we have here (form II master - duelling). I think its a lengthy, tough match, but eventually Tyranus wins out. Quote
hollisbrick Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Boba Fett is my fave character but i think yoda will win. Quote
The Kid Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Yoda catches Tyranus off guard and force pulls his lightsaber towards him. However, seeing as it's shaped like a boomerang, it comes back to Tyranus instantly. Yoda bawals like a baby, trying to play on guilt, but Christopher Lee- er, Tyranus quickly finishes the little shrimp. TK Quote
Shadows Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 ...but Christopher Lee- er, Tyranus quickly finishes the little shrimp. And then Sauron quietly has him completely edited out of the last LotR. This furthers past rumours of a torrid love-affair between *yoda* and Sauron. Though it is said to have ended 'poorly', love never really dies and the pain of losing Yoda drove him to evil. *wacko* Quote
jifel Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 well, dooku said yoda could match him in the force in ep.2, and yoda would make the whack a fig contest look pathetic.whackwhackwhackwhackwhackwhackwhack!!!!!!!!!yoda wins jifel Quote
