ritztoys Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Fellow Builders............My latest MOC Front entrance Equipment entrance / exit Emergency Equipment located at this station Being that this Station is located in the tropics, you have to have water rescue also I have a full interior planned as well as tropical landscaping, it's just that summer arrived and Lego building comes to a halt for a few months. I'll update this post when I have completed interior details. More details @ my links, comments welcome + or - Quote
medib Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 that boat is soo adorable. Good modification. The station looks quite nice. I enjoy the fire apparatus. Quote
PastVPresent Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 This looks great, reminds me of some real stations I've seen! Really like the color palette, tower, tall bays, and equipment - great work, can't wait to see more progress shots! Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Excellent designing there 'ritztoys', very American looking indeed. Brick On ! Quote
Legotom Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 That's cool. Looks really good. And the little boat is really cool. Quote
Kristel Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Nice! I like the colour scheme, the tall bays for the trucks and that there is lots of variation in the walls and roof (i.e. not just rectangular box). Looking forward to seeing what you do with the interior. Quote
ritztoys Posted July 2, 2015 Author Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) I really appreciate the comments folks........ @ medib - thank-you @ PastVPresent - I had a lot of the Dark Red and decided, " Why not? " @ lightningtiger - thank-you, I worked a lot on how this 'looked', and kept at it. ( something similar to how you build ) @ TheLegoPerson9 - thank-you @ Legotom - thank-you, I had that boat in my stuff for years, finally found a good use for it @ Kristel - thank-you, I can't tell you how many times I changed the "footprint" of the structure, because of the roof pieces. Then of course I changed the rooms to also accommodate the roof pieces keeping in mind the overall look, basically rebuilt this many, many times. Then I discovered I only had a 10 brick opening and had to keep my Ladder Fire truck 'short' to be able to get through the doors. Edited July 2, 2015 by ritztoys Quote
ritztoys Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 (edited) I just recently participated with a display at the Greenfield Brick Expo earlier this month and properly landscaped this fire station, additional photos at my Bricksafe. Edited October 22, 2015 by ritztoys Quote
