Legonardo Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Piercing the silence with the deep sharp whir of exhaust outlets with poor silencers, A 'big boned' bearded pilot tears through the baron landscape of the dead-lands, disturbing greatly the dust beneath him. Where is he going? What is his purpose? Great questions, all I know is that his spaceship looks kinda cool and I want one. Hey guys! this is my favorite build i'm taking down to CBS this year. I spent a decent amount of time tweaking it (unlike most of my mocs where i start them one day and have them done within a week) I think I started this in February with a completely different design in mind, and it just evolved every couple of weeks when i came back to it, went through about 3 different pairs of wings, a few thruster designs... initially it was olive and bright green, to put things in perspective. I'm very happy with the result, since I still consider myself to be mainly a castle builder. Thanks to the guys who gave me valuable imput, your feedback is much appreciated :) Come see it in 2 and a half weeks at the Christchurch Brick Show! I've saved the biggest 2 show mocs for the next 2 weeks, space and castle, stay tuned! enjoy! David Quote

Missing Brick Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 I like everything but particularly the two white croissants. Quote
deraven Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 The ship is lovely... and the dust clouds are incredible! As Missing Brick said, NPU on the croissants! Quote
___ Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 The steam is nice - I like how you did it (trans clear becoming white opaque) Quote
PaddyBricksplitter Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 The base and the smoke action are really super good. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 This is absolutely stunning. The ship itself is gorgeous! The shapes you managed to create are just wonderful, and the colour combos are lovely! I think it's the cloud of dust that really steals the scene though! wonderful job! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
aeralure Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Amazing. I pretty much have no other words than that. Everything has been said. Great work! Quote
