BraselC5048 Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I wondering (although I think the answer is no) if anybody non-offical-LEGO has decided to make a piece of an interior door that fits the standard 4x6 frame. Right now the only options are various clear glass and with a 4 pane window, and neither works well for interior doors. Seems like it would be the perfect opportunity for somebody who makes custom pieces to make one, and yet I can't find anybody who has. So has somebody decided to make one, or is it still a gap waiting to be filled? Quote
Pizzareno Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Why go for after-market? Simpsons house has them. http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=78047&colorID=28 These make great internal doors. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 (edited) They already have them. 2 words… Simpsons House. EDIT: I see that Pizzareno has already had the same thought as I. Well, either way, these doors would work very well and look great. I've been meaning to get some myself. Edited June 23, 2015 by Legocity2713 Quote
Naijel Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 The colour from the Simpsons House has limited use though. That part was made in white too and thankfully there are 3 2015 sets that contain it in white. Quote
Vorkosigan Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Good suggestion about the availability in flesh. But I wish they'd make this door in reddish brown. It could also use a nice print with wood grain and printing of four recessed panels. Quote

The printing (or really, actually having in the molding) of a couple of recessed panels, in reddish brown and a couple of other colors, of that piece is exactly what I was thinking of. Thing is, they haven't done it yet, and the flesh door isn't the right molding in the first place. Quote
