Ultron Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Well they took down the listings on Amazon so are Avengers 1-6 all racers or are those actual sets? Quote
psqidexslizer248 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 (edited) Well they took down the listings on Amazon so are Avengers 1-6 all racers or are those actual sets? I think just 76064, 76065, 76066. Going off the DC list, I'm thinking there might not be Avengers 1-3 at all; I think 1,2,3, are actually Batman based. So for the racers it's 1-3 are Batman and 4-6 are Avengers, if that makes sense (if not, I'll try to explain it better). Edited August 6, 2015 by psqidexslizer248 Quote

Are those 3 numbers the ones that were listed as Avengers 4-6? I suppose it makes sense if there were 3 DC ones and 3 Marvel ones. How many sets are we looking at now? 3 Civil War, 2 Avengers Assemble, 1 Junior and *possibly* more? While I'm glad we're getting a bigger wave, I'm disappointed a few of the sets aren't big! What I do wonder is if the racers each have a hero and villain car in them. That'd make it better Quote

TheLegoExperience Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Yes, impulse sets is what this theme needs! Racers will be much easier on the wallet, especially considering all $50+ sets we got this year. Quote

CM4Sci Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 CM4Sci confirmed we're getting 3 Civil War sets. There were three listings for CW sets. Quote

Sir Gareth Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Well......hopefully we get variants or I'm out. Or figures only previously available in expensive sets, like Maria Hill. Quote
Ultron Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Or figures only previously available in expensive sets, like Maria Hill. I'll take her again if they actually give her a good face print this time Quote
Legocity2713 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I'll take her again if they actually give her a good face print this time I'll take her either way with that SHIELD arm patch printing. Quote
Dr Axels Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 The idea of a racer series for Marvel/DC intrigues me. Hopefully we will see some characters that have yet to be featured in LEGO form. Quote
just2good Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 CM4Sci confirmed we're getting 3 Civil War sets. More! Quote
Sir Gareth Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 (edited) More! More! 2016's gonna be a marvelous year for Super Heroes. Edit: 500th Post! Edited August 6, 2015 by Sir Gareth Quote
Legocity2713 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 More! You're honestly my favorite person right now. Quote
djmangunz Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 (edited) Bah, wrote this in the wrong thread. This is the happy thread where no one is whining about what clues they are or aren't getting. Anyway, since j2g has informed us that we are getting more Civil War sets than three, then I wonder if we will get six sets like we did with Age of Ultron? Edited August 7, 2015 by djmangunz Quote
N_Cat Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Wait a minute- aren't one figure/one (out of scale) vehicle $10.00 packs encroaching on Lego Dimensions territory? I can understand that for Marvel there are video game rights issues, but there's a matching DC line! No way that they wouldn't just make those ones Dimensions packs, right? So is there something I'm missing, or is Lego just making weird choices? Quote
Agent 86 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 It strikes me as a little odd too N_Cat. Other than potentially unlocking additional "Adventure Worlds" (which is irrelevant for the DC Comics since Batman is in the Starter Pack), there would be no real incentive to buy some of the "fun packs" if they were available without the Lego Dimensions element in much cheaper "Racer Packs". Obviously since Marvel isn't part of Lego Dimensions it's a little different for them, but it would be an odd approach for DC Comics, unless the products are meant to be complimentary and won't overlap (i.e. the Race Packs won't include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg or Bane). psqidexslizer248 Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 (edited) More! Do you know if Civil War sets are going to come out in the Winter Wave or the Spring Wave? And do you have full descriptions or a complete list of the sets (I don't need to know either of them until you're ready to share, just wondering if you could tell how much you know so far, if that's ok). Thanks for the update on CW sets, really appreciate it. Bah, wrote this in the wrong thread. This is the happy thread where no one is whining about what clues they are or aren't getting. So should we expect Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow or Supergirl in the DC " Racer" sets? Wrong thread . Since they are labeled Batman, I'm expecting them to all feature Batman characters with bulkier micro-fighter styled vehicles rather than mini-builds like in Dimensions. That's just my thoughts though. Edited August 7, 2015 by psqidexslizer248 Quote

Bricky Dee Williams Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 (edited) More! Well, let's see. M-O-R-E... We're getting more than three Captain America: Civil War sets! But in all seriousness, I've looked at each post. The Racers hint was pretty cool. Keep em' coming, Mr. Good. Or don't *wink*. Edited August 7, 2015 by Aegis2000 Quote
