PorscheQuattro21 Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Dear Lego Builders, I am new at this forum. My name is Koen and I really like building with lego technic. I have a 8258 Crane, a 8110 Unimog and some other models. When I recentley wanted to re build the 8258 I found out its stickers are completely ruined (falling of and crumbling away). Of course i did not really like this so I immediately started searching the web for new stickers and I found out that this has happened to more 8258's. Sadly enough there were only a couple of webshops who had them but the prices were rediculous. starting around 30 euros (I even found a website who sold them for 88 USD). Is there anybody on this forum who stills has these stickers or knows where to get them for a normal price? Because I need to safe money for the new Arocs. Thanks in advance for the help. Kind Regards Koen Quote
zux Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Sadly, probably nowhere, otherwise it would be quickly sold out. Quote
dr_spock Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 You could try to scan your copy of the stickers and reprint them on sticker paper. My 8258 stickers are cracked. I should have scanned them first. Oh well... Quote
Chr.Maglekaer Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 (edited) I have a scaned version off the stickers Edited June 10, 2015 by Chr.Maglekaer Quote
Freekysch Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 This is odd, I have my 8258 on display for over 3 years and the stickers are in perfect shape. How come yours are cracked ? Quote
TinkerBrick Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Have you tried TLG customer service? Give them a call. Try to find out the part number of the sticker sheet. Quote

PorscheQuattro21 Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 Thank you all for the replies, Tinker brick, that is a very good tip i will try that tomorrow Chr. Maglekaer, could you oost the scan on the forum? Nerdsforprez, No chance will pay that kind of money for it. I wouldn't do that if the Arocs was not on my whishlist either. Quote

ritztoys Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Koen, I still have an original sticker set, unused, in good to excellent shape. I don't apply stickers to my models. As you are a new member, you will need to respond here until EB allows you the PM feature. We can discuss how for you to get them from me Quote
darksheep Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 I also never put stickers on cause they don't last and then it hard to re use parts Quote
Blakbird Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Cracking stickers is an unfortunately common problem. You won't be able to get new ones from LEGO Customer Service for out of production models, and the aftermarket supply is limited and expensive. Making your own is often the only viable option. Quote
PorscheQuattro21 Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 Ritstoys thank you for the reply. I am ofcourse interested in your stickers. Hope we can make a deal Quote
ritztoys Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Koen, I think you need 10 posts to be able to send PM to other members, with that in mind, keep posting where you can in topics you enjoy. I'll send my info to you via PM system, when you can receive messages. (I promise) Quote
