Batbrick Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 (edited) I was extremely :'-) to find that Lego were making an Indiana Jones line, but also extremely :'-( to find that no Temple of Doom sets were included. Should this line be successful (no doubt it will), do you think it will grant a second wave? If so, what should these sets focus on? I would personaly *wub* to see Temple of Doom sets despite the movie's darkness. There would be no "Satanic Ritual" set, but the Obi-Wan Club fight, Mine Car Chase and Bridge Suspense (poor names I know, no doubt that Lego will use them :-D ) could easily be made. Your thoughts? >:-) I also apologise should a topic like this had already been posted. Edited August 27, 2007 by Batbrick

I'm not the only one eager to hear news about Indy sets after worldwide thrill of the official announcment has settled down... This is what LEGO had to say when asked this question by Indy fansite ihatesnakes.com "Per our design and production frames, we could only translate a certain number of scenes in our first round of Indiana Jones products, and we chose to focus on those most iconic scenes from the original trilogy, which happen to come from Raiders and Last Crusade. There's no telling what could be in store for future development." Check out the full interview here: http://www.ihatesnakes.com/news/legoex.html Sadly, no real solid answers on the TOD subject... My guess is that TOD sets will surely follow... I mean... How can you not have the sets Batbrick described in the LEGO line?... I'm sure every LEGO/Indy fan is dying to let that little plastic mine car race over a bit of plastic track while humming the Indiana Jones theme ;)
Vader Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 You know it's far to early to start asking if we will get a second wave, as we already have a topic regarding Indy i shall close this one and ask you all to post there instead.
