Ever since seening this Old Pharmacy, I'm fascinated mostly by the age span of the bricks used for this modular. I'm fairly new to LEGO, and there were many parts I didn't even know exist. In addition to mixing new and old parts, the building is also a great source of inspiration as there are so many lovely details. Just to name a few, I love the rounded roof, the skylight in the roof, the red and white awnings, the back roof terrace, and the brick build front door. Great work! Quote

It's a huge motivation for me for the next model! ... some words to to the old windows I used in my modular: I think most of the younger LEGO fans haven't seen them before. In the 70ies there were some nice parts which could be combined with these windows. A glass in the size 1x5x6, a red awning, a brown windowsill, shutters and another special windowsill with wall panel. It is possible to switch the windowsill and the awning from the front and even from the backside, the shutters are still usable. It is possible to rotate the glass 360°. The stickers for the awnings are from the Homemaker Set 230. The problem was that I needed 15 of these rare old frames wihout broken clips, and even 15 glasses in good shiny quality. The last requirement was nearly impossible for me to fulfill. I had to polish old scratchy glasses with the acryl polish you see on the pic. After this handling they looked nearly like new!
