Prairie Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Hi, I'm Prairie. I played with LEGO sets when I was little, took a dozen-year break, got a few more (mostly Belville), took another dozen-year break, and over the past few months really got into them again, focusing mostly on collecting Friends sets. I enjoy the high quality, thoughtful designs, countless details, and everyday situations in these sets. I'm really glad LEGO made Friends because others only mildly appeal while Friends is irresistable. A few exceptions that I really like and got: Haunted House and Benny's Spaceship. This has turned into my second major collection after Groovy Girls dolls and some Care Bears. Both of these collections I've made tap into a happy fun place for me. I've always been creative in various ways. I sometimes make electronic or software projects to help with practical things. I love exploring and understanding things. Since I was little I tend to open everything of mine up to see how it's made inside. I also enjoy diagnosing problems with things and trying to repair them. I hope to post pictures of things I make, share stories of the LEGO deals I've found, and post some informal reviews (my first is already written, but I frustratingly can't post it until I've made ten replies). dr_spock Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Welcome to Eurobricks, Prairie. I see you used an Arduino minipro. I've started playing around with Arduino. I'm working on a sketch to control my Friends cargo train MOC through infrared LEGO Power Functions. Quote
Exetrius Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 I agree, Friends is one of the strongest Lego themes right now, in terms of both popularity and quality. Welcome to Eurobricks! Quote
