pirzyk Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Yes, a good effort! What are your next plans? Build it out of bricks? Create a newer detailed version? A completely different model? rolling stock? So many questions :) Welcome to the forum, I look forward to your future creations! Quote
trainbot1 Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 thanks pirzyk! i have no plans for a brick built version yet because i don't have the parts at the moment, i'm thinking of a new locomotive like you said, as i said in the original post i'm free for suggestion, so feel free to shoot me a line on what you want to see built, and i'll see if i can make it! thanks! Ex cinno Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Good job Matt. Now you can planning some improvements to your loco back to make it less boxy. Quote

Rail Co Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Hello, i'm new to these forums and still have to navigate thru them, but last night i decided to build a locomotive, now i know its not very detailed, but i'm just a kid :P Not to be "that guy" but according to Site Guidelines you mentioned that you are just a kid and the rules explicitly say you should be 18 or greater Please Read the Guidelines! -RailCo Quote
trainbot1 Posted June 6, 2015 Author Posted June 6, 2015 whoops, i didn't see that... well this is awkward Quote
trainbot1 Posted June 6, 2015 Author Posted June 6, 2015 got a new update! added the sloped back and handrails, also i shortened the nose and added side grilles Quote
Rail Co Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 You do have a good start on a model though!! My suggestion would be to round the nose a little bit more because it is flat at the front so I feel like you could add a couple of sloped bits, but it is your model. Great start! -RailCo Quote
THERIZE Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Good start! Only suggestion would be making it longer. Although i could see a small Santa Fe locomotive working as a shunter at a yard! Good start! trainbot1 Posted June 6, 2015 Author Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) I could try to add bricks with the studs sideways and then try the 1x1 slopes to round the nose, but I don't know how that would work with the logo Edited June 6, 2015 by trainbot1 Quote
