Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 um shockie he lives to see after the second battle of corusant dooku well is headless and hand less annnd floating in space somewhere Quote
captaintau Posted August 29, 2007 Author Posted August 29, 2007 I make it 3-2 Darth Tyranus, with very poor arguments in favour of the Shock Trooper anyway. The next match takes place on Geonosis and is between two Jedi. The first is known as Jedi Jimmy. The second is a survivor of the Geonosian battle. Its Obi Wan Kenobi (Ultimate Lightsaber Duel) Round 3, match 4: Jedi Jimmy vs. Obi Wan Kenobi (Ultimate Lightsaber Duel) Quote
jifel Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 jimmy MUST progress, so i vote for the only jedi without a name in hope that he is number one total jifel Quote
captaintau Posted August 29, 2007 Author Posted August 29, 2007 We know little about Jedi Jimmy but we guess that he's skirting a bit close to the Dark Side. This version of Obi Wan is at about his most powerful, only hampered (or not, YOU decide) by being LULS. I vote for a lengthy Lightsaber battle culminating with Obi Wan striking a lethal blow. Aside from anything else, Obi Wan is one of the movie heroes and therefore HAS to win against a virtual unknown (basic Hollywood rule) Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 *yawn* obi wins no arguement Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Btw, Captain Tau, you are right about Jimmy skirting close to the dark side. In the Star Wars video game called: Galactic Battlegrounds and in the expansion called: The Clone Wars, there is a Jedi Master named Echuu Shen-Jon. He looks a lot like JJ and I adopted JJ as Echuu. In the campaign and Star Wars canon he does almost turn to the dark side. Obi-wan wins because Jimmy is goofy. (the head) Quote
Shadows Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Jedi Jimmy evil? Aw... he looks so happy! Well, he looks like a maniac, so maybe. Obi Wan is clearly at the top of his game and Jimmy ... well, we've never heard from him again, so after a decently entertaining battle, Jimmy falls off a cliff, with that same expression still on his face. "YEEEEEHAAAAAAAAWWWW," he screams, as he hurtles to his death. Crazy jedi. Quote
Corvus Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Seeing as obi is LULS, and I like Jimmy, I'd going to say that Jimmy wins. Why? Miracles happen! ;-) Quote
The Kid Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Midway through the pointless 'saber duel, Obi-Wan's hood blows off. "EEK! I'm bald!!!" Stupidly trying to cover his shiny skinhead with his hands, he burns his face off, forgetting the lightsaber is permanently stuck to his crappy arm. Jimmy laughs maniacally. Then falls over a rock, gets up, and walks off sheepishly. TK Quote
captaintau Posted August 30, 2007 Author Posted August 30, 2007 I make it three all so I'm going to rule in favour of who I think has had the better arguments, that being Obi Wan. It seems some wanted Jimmy to win, but could quite state why he'd possibly win. Sorry. The next match is HARSH. This sort of match will happen increasingly often in this challenge. It features two Jedi Masters, both slain by Darth Sidious. The first is the Nautolan, Master Kit Fisto. The second is the Human, Master Mace Windu (LULS version). Round 3, match 5: Kit Fisto vs. Mace Windu (LULS) Quote
Shadows Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 No one is walking away from this one with a clear victory, except that he can walk away. I'm going for Council over non, so Mace wins a narrow, but incredibly difficult battle. Barely. Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 (edited) Boba the Feet was a typo. I *SWEAR*. Edited August 31, 2007 by Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 (edited) again i vot kit for his squishy ness and big silly eyes oh oh and he doesnt have a femine violet colored light sabre his is greeen and mace is just gonna get fried any how id rather get slashed then fried with lightning oh haha sorry about that rant X-D Edited August 31, 2007 by Commander Andrew of 501 st Quote
captaintau Posted August 31, 2007 Author Posted August 31, 2007 So we have a recognised Lightsaber Master vs the creator the Lightsaer form Vapaad. Hell, who knows who will win this. Ordinarily, I'd go with Mace by a thin margin. He is better overall Master and nearly a match with Lightsabers, with the added advantage of Vapaad. The question is, do LULS matter? For this match, I'm gonna say no. The LULS makes Mace's lightsaber blade seems more akin to its true size and strength. As long as Mace doesn't try to throw it, he'll be fine. Mace wins. Just. Quote
iamded Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Well, since Kit Fisto is awesome, and Mace Windu is equally awesome, we have a tough decision. But Kit Fisto can breathe underwater, and whilst he and Mace Windu are furiously fighting, Mace uses force push, knocking Fisto to the ground. Mace menacingly approaches Fisto, and swings the saber at him. But Fisto dodges and counters, throwing Windu off the cliff edge into the sea below. He jumps in after him, and sees him struggling in the water. He grabs Windu, and drags him under the water, igniting his saber as he goes (Windu's saber is gone, he dropped it in surprise when he was hurtling over the edge), and stabbing it through Windu's chest. What a sad way for an awesome Jedi to go, but hey, Kit Fisto rocks! Quote
The Kid Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Kit begins to wrap Mace in his tentacles, suffocating him, but Mace quickly cuts through them with his blade, causing Kit to cry out in pain. Mace then proceeds to stab him in the eyes, laughing like some sort of crazed evil genius (that Vaapaad's getting to him). Kit stumbles forward blindly and bumps into Mace. They both fall off the conveniently-placed cliff they were standing on, but as Kit can breathe underwater, Kit still (somehow, just) wins. TK Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 The way I see it, whilst fighting Darth Sidius, Kit got killed in 3 swings, whereas Mace actually held his own for most of the fight. So, I vote Mace for not completely sucking. Quote
jifel Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 (edited) my two favorite characters, but one must die, so i vote for kit fisto jifel Edited August 31, 2007 by jifel Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 the world may never no Quote
captaintau Posted August 31, 2007 Author Posted August 31, 2007 I make it 5-3 Master Kit, who holds the record for the shortest Lightsaber match in SW movie history! The next match will fail to live up to that match, but it can't be helped. Featured first, our favourite Wookiee, its Chewbacca (Mil Falc). And his opponent, the new Sith Apprentice Darth Vader (ULS) Round 3, match 6: Chewbacca (new, system-scale, MF) vs. Darth Vader (Ultimate Lightsaber Duel) Quote
iamded Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Chewbacca (if he has his bowcaster) lets off a few bolts at Darth Vader, but he deflects them with his saber. If he doesn't have his bowcaster, then he just runs towards Vader aggressively, which is what he would have done after he shot the bolts anyway. So, Chewie's running aggressively towards Vader, does Vader (a) slice off Chewie's arm, then lop off his head as he reaches him, or (b) use force choke before Chewie can reach him, then impale Chewie through the chest with his saber to finish him off? It doesn't really matter, Vader wins either way! So, despite Chewie being a brave warrior, who could take damn near anyone, you pit him against Vader and he's toast. Quote
captaintau Posted August 31, 2007 Author Posted August 31, 2007 Yep, Chewie's a Wookiee-Burger. Shame as I'd have liked to have seen him go further. Quote
