Solscud007 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) Picked up the Winter Soldier by buying the Ferris Wheel. Here is the Official Winter Soldier next to my MOC Winter Soldier (Which was inspired by JaredChan's Winter Soldier). I used Hawkeye's head for the sunglasses and legs, ninjago mask, chrome arm from Chrome Stormtrooper. Gorgeous arm printing. Too bad they didnt use a chrome arm. Back printing. I am not a fan of the black eye mask. Kinda looks like Robin from Batman. I swapped the hands to make Winter Soldier more movie accurate. In the street shootout scene, his right hand is bare skin and his robot hand has a black glove. This would be more movie accurate as he is wearing sunglasses at the beginning of the fight on the overpass. And here is the iconic scene from the film, where Steve Rogers shields himself from Winter Soldier's punch Edited June 4, 2015 by Solscud007 Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 (edited) Very cool. Love the combo of the promo and yours. Also, would it be possible for you to show the promo's masked face side with the Ninjago mask piece on the promo's body? I'd appreciate it Edited June 5, 2015 by Legocity2713 Quote

Legocity2713 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Thanks. Love it. i might try doing that to mine. Quote
Fuppylodders Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 That is really decent! TLG definitely missed a trick with the chrome arm. That looks exactly how it should be and TLGs version looks like a cheap quality attempt! Considering also, you did this with current available parts, id say spot on. Quote
Silent Nomad Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Cool to see that I'm not the only one who noticed, and fixed, the non-movie-accuracy of the hands. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Cool to see that I'm not the only one who noticed, and fixed, the non-movie-accuracy of the hands. The fig is supposed to be a mix of the film and comic in every way, that's why the head is the way it is. Quote
Silent Nomad Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 The fig is supposed to be a mix of the film and comic in every way, that's why the head is the way it is. I know that, but for those of us who want to focus on the movie version, the hands are wrong, so some of us took it upon ourselves to change that. Quote
