davidmull Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Bought 2 of these lately. Yesterday 1 ran out so plugged it in for first charge. Light started blinking straight away and was still blinking 8 hours later. Does the light not stay on all the time while charging? Lego site says stays on while charging and blinks when charged. Anyone know what might be up? Quote
Man with a hat Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Hmm, strange. When I plug it in it starts blinking and when it stops blinking and stays on continuously it is fully charged. Does it still keep blinking after all these hours? Quote
pirzyk Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I agree with Man with a hat, mine blink while they are charging and solid when it is complete. I have not had an issue where it took 8 hours to charge though. Quote
davidmull Posted June 2, 2015 Author Posted June 2, 2015 Yes kept blinking even after 4 hours but did charge as Iv just used it for 2 hours. I just charged the second one and the light was solid after 3 hour. Quote
davidmull Posted June 2, 2015 Author Posted June 2, 2015 I'm sure lots of train guys have 8878 has anyone seen this issue? And yes I have used the search box. Quote

davidmull Posted June 3, 2015 Author Posted June 3, 2015 Ok Iv ran it down a second time today and it's charging now 5 hours and still blinking. It is charging properly as I ran a train for 3 hours on the last charge. Quote
zephyr1934 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Yes, call customer service and tell them your situation. With something this expensive they might ask you to send it in, but they are usually very good about finding a solution. Quote
