Feuer Zug Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 That look really nice. I've seen a few of those when I travel to Neiderland and you've captured it well. Even the cantenary looks good. Quote
zephyr1934 Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Excellent to see it in brick, very well done and it looks better than many 6 wide trains. Quote
Rijkvv Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Very nice Hod Carrier! As Feuer Zug mentioned, great work on the catenary as well. Quote
Hod Carrier Posted July 10, 2015 Author Posted July 10, 2015 Thanks everyone for the amazing feedback. You guys have been an enormous help to me with this build with your encouragement and advice. Quote
THERIZE Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 THERIZE: I thought all the 3 car units had been rebuilt and lengthened, but I defer to your greater knowledge on this point. Clearly my sources are incorrect. I certainly don't recall seeing any during my brief visit to The Netherlands, so maybe they don't operate along the Amsterdam to Den Haag corridor. i think there are almost non 3 car units. But the cars can be uncoupled and attached to other units like normal locomotive pulled trains for maintenance flexibility. So i could also be a rare unit were 1 car was detached. Did you also see a olympic games one on the web? That could be a cool recolour project! Quote
Duq Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Well done! That's turned out really well! At that size/scale models are not meant for close-ups ;-) Quote
Hod Carrier Posted July 11, 2015 Author Posted July 11, 2015 Er, yes. The front end has not got any prettier and is best viewed from a distance. Quote
Hod Carrier Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 (edited) A little frontal tweak. Edited July 14, 2015 by Hod Carrier Quote
