legocrazedkid Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) Re-posted higher quality pics later in the thread. About 5k in pieces. Took 2.5 months to design it, and another 1 month ish to get the parts and build it. Edited June 2, 2015 by legocrazedkid Quote
The Indivisible Woman Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Always liked the Nautilus, and this is fantastic - amazing attention to detail! Loving the different uses of sloped pieces, too. Quote
Lady K Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Very nice! Good piece usage here! Fantastic representation of the Nautilus. Quote
Praiter Yed Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Your pictures are not really doing justice to this MOC which is a shame because it's amazing. Quote
PaddyBricksplitter Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Great build, it looks huge. It's a shame we can't see the model in all it's glory. You should post more pics. Quote
hunpeter12 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Does it have any interior? I also agree that it needs more/better pics. Quote

I don't have a "real camera" other than what is on my phone. I'll have to see if I can borrow one. Does it have any interior? I also agree that it needs more/better pics. The "wheel house" has a wheel ( ) in it. I thought about doing the internal section of the salon at a later time. Quote
Missing Brick Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Very nice. Interesting choice of colour. I'm unfamliar with the details of the Jules Verne original story: was the Nautilus made of wood or metal? Anyhow - great looking sub. Quote
