THERIZE Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I found a old toy car yesterday and i have decided that i'm building it. https://flic.kr/p/sqfLv6 It appears to be a crashtender in police style. I believe it had a water cannon on the roof but i'm not sure. So, im building one. 8 blocks wide and fits 4 minifigures. I currently only have the frame but im planning to use the empty space in it for a technic crane like Diesel-10 from thomas and friends. I choose white because that is the only colour where i could build it of. https://flic.kr/p/tmP8qU https://flic.kr/p/tn9zCp Quote
jfbat Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 The toy car is a water cannon, used by riot police mostly: Quote
ER0L Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Nice idea, those are rather rare in Lego. 8w is a suitable width for a large truck like this. However the wheels you have chosen are clearly too small for such a giant vehicle, you may want to try these instead: http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=58090 Quote
Legocity2713 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 (edited) Great work so far bro. You know, I've lived in NY for years and I never knew that the NYPD had one of those. Guess thats because there aren't massive riots. Edited May 22, 2015 by Legocity2713 Quote
THERIZE Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 https://youtu.be/qN37LtqxEHk here is a link for a quik video. The technic pieces turn when pushing the truck. It will be a searchlight. Quote
