I am trying to build a moc, and it involves some 1x2 1x2 pieces next to each other in the way pictured.

I've done it in Lego Digital designer with no problems, but for some reason they don't quite fit together the right way when I do it in real life, and it's interfering with my moc. Please help.

Hi IronFish,

Your picture is too big. I have removed the deeplink and changed it to a hyperlink. You may refer to our tutorials for resizing. Thanks.

Yeap ... Had the same problem as you, just yesterday. I think that there is no margin on the bottom like there would be on the sides of a brick. So that build is "illegal". You should find another solution. It's always a good idea to check if what works on LDD, does in IRL.

Thanks, I'll see what I can do, but, the thing is I've seen other people do it before... Huh...

It might work depending 1) on the slight variation of size and if 2) you can force them to stick togetter. With some of my parts the plate juste jump away, with other, it holds.

I had siilar problems with my MOC build (Speeder Bike over in the Star Wars section) where stuff I knew worked - I was building an LDD construct from photos I took of an actual build three years ago - was not allowed by LDD. In some cases I had to re-engineer the build, but for other part assemblies I had to leave them 'floating', and rely on the builders experience to work out how to assemble the parts.
