El Bucanero Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 (edited) As far as I know there are no auctions on Bricklink... Correct me if I'm wrong please... As far as I know you get buy now products if you search for items for sale. Everything I've purchased on Bricklink were buy now products. Mr Tiber Edited August 20, 2007 by Mr Tiber

SirNadroj Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 No, I think there are auctions: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?invType=A&searchSort=N
CopMike Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Hi! As Sir Nadroj wrote there is auctions. But they look really different to the buy now. Exampel for an auction: Qty: 1 Opening Bid: $2.50 Bids: 0 Time Left: 2 Days, 21 Hours+ Buyout Price: $4.00 Add to Cart: Ordinary " Buy now": Qty: 2 Each: $1.40 Add to Cart: Good luck! BL On copmike
Shadows Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Yeah, the auctions are a little odd to me, but you could find something there. Just be sure you read everything carefully. The real secret to Bricklink is to make a wanted list and use it to find stores that carry as many of the things you want as possible, at the best overall price. Sometimes one part is very cheap somewhere, but everything else is high, so you need to look at it as an entire order to determine value. The easiest way (to me) to make a wanted list is to sign in and do searches for things you want. In the search results you'll see a little icon like this: Press it and you'll go to a page where you can fill in details about that item. If you want a specific colour or any colour, new or used, etc. At the bottom you submit it and after a couple of pages it's in your list. Once you've built up a list, you can hit "Wanted", then "By Store" and it will make a list of stores that sell what you're interested in. Browse that and you just might find a bargain. Good luck!
