Wardancer Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Finally, some action in the much neglected field of horse customizing! It was about time! I am particularly happy that is something I could never do myself. Fabric is so difficult to work with when you want to make something as big as a horse barding. I tried to make barding once and all I got was cut up pieces. And now this. The horses are restless tonight! Quote
midelburgo Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Just for some ideas. Great Equestrian Armorial of the Golden Fleece http://www.photo.rmn.fr/C.aspx?VP3=SearchResult&ALID=2C6NU0DRIESO&LANGSWI=1&LANG=English Quote
MAB Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I wonder if I'm the only one thinking you spelt "comparisons" wrong? I had to look up caparisons. :-) Quote

I'll try and get more pictures up soon... Just for some ideas. Great Equestrian Armorial of the Golden Fleece http://www.photo.rmn...=1&LANG=English This is great Midelburgo - which of these in particular would you like me to do? I wonder if I'm the only one thinking you spelt "comparisons" wrong? I had to look up caparisons. :-) Yeah - I;d never heard of it before I started... HORSE CAPARISON: A caparison is a cloth covering laid over a horse or other animal for protection and decoration. In modern times, they are used mainly in parades and for historical reenactments. A similar term is horse-trapper. The word is derived from the Latin caparo, meaning a cape. Quote

Wardancer Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 This comes at the right time. I am so going to pimp my elven horses with that. Especially with the blankets. There are no saddles in dark green unfortunately, but dark green blankets with reddish brown saddles will look fine! Quote
