Zilcho Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 (edited) I've undertaken the task of recreating the Avengers Age of Ultron trailer in Lego. There is one scene were a motorbike is dropped out of a moving jet onto the road and I really don't know how to go about making this scene; green screen separate parts? Masking? Any advice would be much appreciated Edited May 3, 2015 by Zilcho Quote
Nick Wolfe Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Brotherhood Workshop did something similar, the way they did it was green screen with the bike, quinjet, and background all as separate shots then edited them together. Here are links to some making of vids. Quote
SteampunkDoc Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Yep, that's probably going to be the best way to do it. The scene is just too big and complex to handle all practically and in-camera. Quote
Columbus019 Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 You could do it with a flat background (like a matte painting in old films) which uses forced perspective to create a road with buildings etc along it. Then, you connect something to both the bike and the matte and move it downwards and outwards while moving the jet above. Even I'm confused, and I said it! Columbus Quote
