Brainbox Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 (edited) Okay, so I decided today to add my Tiny Turbo models to the 'available' parts selection, ie. dismantle them. But then I thought "if I'm going to take them apart, why not have some fun?" So I came up with The Lucky Draw Tiny Turbo Combo-model Challenge. Catchy, no? ;-) So, I wrote the set numbers on pieces of paper and proceeded to draw them from a hat. Also of interest on my desk is Transformers: Infiltration, a Transformers WWII project I'm working on, a glass of water on a Simpsons coaster, my whack-a-fig entry and my space fighter contest entry from a few months ago. X-D I finally found the macro function on my camera, so the photos are better than usual. Not that they're normally bad, these are just better. All STAMPS were removed, but all other stickers were kept intact on their respective pieces. 1 The first numbers out of the hat were 8655 and 8642. And here's the result: The model used all the pieces except 5. Gallery 2 The next two numbers picked were 8657 and 8643. Result: A few more pieces left this time. Gallery 3 The third selection gave me 8658 and 8656 to work with. Which yielded this: Not too many pieces left again. Gallery 4 That left 8641 and 8644. I have to say, I think this one is probably my favourite, I'm just not sure why. :-D For some reason I really like this picture. ;-) Leftover pieces. Gallery Overview All remaining pieces. So, overally, a successful challenge, that made dissassembling a model (or, rather, series of models) even more fun than it already was. Try it sometime. Full gallery. Comment, criticisms and questions welcome. :-) Edited August 13, 2007 by Brainbox Quote
Some guy Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Those are some very nice cars! Please make more :-P More to come? Tiny Turbo Alternate Models on! Quote
Brainbox Posted August 13, 2007 Author Posted August 13, 2007 Those are some very nice cars! Please make more :-P More to come? Thanks. I wasn't planning on making any more. They're the only Tiny Turbo sets I own, I don't have any of the playsets or the year 3 sets. It was really just a bit of fun to, um, break up the breaking up. Thanks though. :-) Quote
Siegfried Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I like them! I like four best as well. I have only one tiny turbo and it is still in its bag, assembled. I probably will break it soon. Quote
Brainbox Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 I like them! Thanks. nice idea with that hat, BTW. :-D *y* :-D Thanks. I don't actually own any hats, so this seemed like the logical choice. Quote
