hachiroku Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 After building the UCS of my favourite Star Wars ship, the Millennium Falcon, I'm going to build my second favourite vehicle, the Snowspeeder: But in this case, I have a serious lack of the original bricks. For the rear window, I used a windscreen that it fits perfectly: http://brickset.com/parts/4599456 In the front part, I build an orange/white plate instead of the original orange roof tiles. And the big problem is the main windscreen. I can built this: It's a good result in form, but not in colour. Any idea? Quote
Smitty500 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 This is starting to look good. the ship though, is a little outdated and could use some major parts swap for new ones.( just like you replaced the rear windscreen) I'd challenge you to make your own based off of LEGO's. The nose portion I feel needs to be shaped better, the edging sharper. Some mini-fig scale MOCs have capture it perfectly. Look at source material to get a better idea of what I am talking about. I have to say, I do like the use of tiles better than slopes. Quote
mattaddiction Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Hi, How's your build going? Curious how you've dealt with some of the other 'brick problems' with this one I've bricklinked the Snowspeeder recently (hopfully you don't mind my adding), here's a few pic of mine (needs a few tweeks still): -m Quote
Regimus Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=72475 Would using this piece somehow work out? Quote
hachiroku Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 (edited) Thanks for the answers, but I have cancelled this. I built the "wings", but I didn't like how it look. Edited May 2, 2015 by hachiroku Quote
