Konajra Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) Hello all, Please allow me to show my latest build. Most of my other ships are posted in the special themes forum, but since I build models in 1:40 scale after existing ships I thought I put them here, from now on. This ship is a Damen ASD 2009. The smallest stern drive azimuth tug from the dutch shipbuilder Damen. I started this ship in MLcad somewhere in 2012, but laid it aside several times to build, amongst others, the Smit zwarte Zee, the Jutlandia and the Rainbow Warrior This is a relatively small moc for me, it is 50cm long and 23cm wide. It consists out of apr. 4100 bricks. Building instructions are being created and will hopefully be available soon. That is if nothing more fun to do comes along. D3K Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Your previous ships are the stuff of legends, they look so incredibly impressive! And this smaller model is no exception! Would love to see your models in person! Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Finaly you post it here at the technic and model team and like your smallest ship ever a lot . Because whe both are ship builders and build scaled models in the mind at modelteam that this is the right place for you. For ship building in bricks is the perfect scale is 1/40 and that is what you juse and is the best way to work in. Your ASD 2009 is great and have stunning details. Hope to seen your instructions soon. Quote
