man, someday i will have to learn how to do these ground vignettes, is it SNOT? entirely or just a part of it, is there some kind of guide to do this ground displays out there?? amazing crash scene btw

Very well done translation of the scene from the trailer. The only part that troubles me is the uniformity of the elevation change ridge. It is a bit too perfect and draws the eye a bit too much for me. But aside from that one minor point a fantastic build.

Nice build! The Snot is used perfectly, but I would suggest having a half stud elevation change opposed to a full one. Also, the X-Wing is a bit bland, since it's TLG versions. Making your own would be really cool. Still a great Moc though!

Nice MOC. I think you molded that X-wing perfectly in the sand without any real gabs!

Though it has me believing that X-wing crashed upside down...

I like it.

The "crash" effect is spot-on.

Thanks!

The entire Tan base is SNOT, just look up the technique on flickr its not very difficult.

The ridge is indeed a bit to uniform, well spotted. Im not going to change anything to it anymore. I will keep it in mind for the next build!

Great looking MOC!

Like it. Very good

Nice looking MOC

I like the landscape and crash effect!

In general, good job

Thumbs up! Poor X-wing...

Thanks!

I have been looking at the scene after reading your comment, and you might just be right! It is hard to tell, lets hope for a closeup in the movie!

That's a fantastic MOC!

Thanks!

I was wondering how long it would take of a MOC of that shot to becreated. Now you just need the ISD in the background!

Yeah, not gonna happen I am afraid. I was thinking of using a forced perspective trick, but that just got to complicated.
