linusbohman Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Hi everyone! Just figured I'd drop a quick hello. I'm Linus - a 30 year old Swedish AFOL who's been in the general LEGO community for a while. After having a couple of grey years LEGO has returned more and more to my life, and I'm longing to connect with other likeminded people. It's a great feeling. So, I'm first and foremost a builder who publishes his MOCs on Flickr. I'm trying to convert my cellar storage into a LEGO workshop (lots of sorting - it's fun!). Many years ago I used to write for TBB, and I've got my favourite piece tattooed onto my arm (finger hinges rule, baby). I used to have an account on Eurobricks (in 2006 I made my one and only thread, it seems), but the account got lost to the sands of time. I'll keep better track of this one. I'm a web designer/developer by trade, and as such I'm working on a resource called Swooshable to help people get into the LEGO hobby. We have a comprehensive library of LEGO techniques and articles called the Building School, a SNOT search engine and the best compilation of LEGO events and locations, among things. It's actually an old project I've given a complete overhaul, and while it's rough around the edges in the current incarnation, it's picking up steam nicely. Feedback, thoughts and contributions are much appreciated. So, there's a short summary of me. As a parting gift, here's me swooshing a MOC in my friends face. I look forward to hanging around here! Andy D Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Welcome back! Those are quite some online resources you have developed, thanks for sharing. I hope you don't get dinged for self promotion. Andy D Quote
