Lego Interiors

So I am pretty new to Legos and enjoy building them with my son. At the moment, I am trying to do some catch up on Creator Houses and looking at different ones. One of the things that struck me is how many don't have interiors. Then for Easter, I got my son the Easter egg painting set, which I thought would make a great interior.

So I was wondering, what other sets are there that can be used just for interiors? Also, do you guys think an interior sub class would sell well for Lego? Different scenes from around the house that can be put into these older houses.

Would love to hear your thoughts.

The Lego Friends line has some nice interiors, although you might not like the theme. However, some of the Friends houses are a bit pricey and I think Olivia's has retired.

There's also ideas in the Lego Neighborhood Book. I'd buy a subclass; I'd be open to a lot of things related to modulars.

The Friends sets are great for interior detailing and accessories like the kitchen utensils, even in some of the smaller sets.

The Simpson's House set is completely finished off inside, even the garage. $200 though...

Get the 'research institute' set. It's all interior, no building.. and them have fun build an actual 'research institute'.

Look for 'lego furniture' online and find ideas to build interiors. The 'Lego Ideas Book' has several pages with nice examples of varying difficulty.

Yes, and the recent Easter set (40121) and Valentine's day set (40120) can be used as well.

I used Friends Emma's design studio (3936) for a MOC we made. Changed the colours around a bit.

I am working on some houses in the 800-2000 piece range with full interiors in creator style sizes. Interiors is definately possible. Search for "lego furniture" for best results.
