Iria Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 You're gonna get catfished This is what I'm thinking. OP sounds totally susceptible to this kind of thing if all it takes is a photo of a pretty woman included in a parcel of Lego. I mean, if 'she' even responds. No where did his post mention a "here's a photo of me, and if you are ever in Italy, I'll show you my Lego collection *wink*". I don't usually follow my heart, but when I have amazing things have happened in my life. I remember once being in a store and seeing a wrench in the bargin bin. It was a Black & Decker wrench and I was buying groceries, and I had no intention on buying a wrench, but it got to me. I thought, as a home owner - I should really have a wrench. So I bought the wrench and then after months of staying in the packaging I realized that my wrench had "special powers," when I finally broke into the plastic packaging to recycle it. Certainly buying a wrench is a far less risky activity than pursuing a random woman across the world, who so far all you really know is you have a single thing in common (love of Lego), but who you believe is female/friendly/organized/single. I'm going to start putting pictures of pretty ladies in all my BL orders now :) No kidding. I'd do that too if I was a man. But, because I'm not, I won't (otherwise someone from across the world might accidentally think I'm interested in them ). Quote

dr_spock Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Watch out for marriage of convenience to get into Canada. Then divorce and lossing 50% of your net worth and LEGO. Quote

No where did his post mention a "here's a photo of me, and if you are ever in Italy, I'll show you my Lego collection *wink*". This would be the fantasy wouldn't it? I have to ask why would the person send a photo of herself to start with? Standard operating procedure to gain more clients? Or was there something more to it? Like she had good banter with the customer etc? Seems an odd thing to do without some intent. Watch out for marriage of convenience to get into Canada. Then divorce and lossing 50% of your net worth and LEGO. If she is from Italy she wouldn't need to. She could immigrate here no problem. But then he could get 50% of her Lego. Quote
Breakdown Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 I've tried to cool off a little, I just can't get over her pic. But I've also decided to try and open myself up to the legitimate possibility that others are getting pics from this temptress. So . . . is anyone else getting pictures from this simply astonishing lady?? I honestly appreciate everyone's feedback. Quote
dr_spock Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 (edited) She looks a bit jaundice to me. She must be after Canada's free healthcare. But then again, Italy spends more on healthcare than Canada, n'est-ce pas? Edited April 11, 2015 by dr_spock Quote
LAKAbricks Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 She is really beautiful, breakdown. I can understand why you are in love Quote
Iria Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 That smile- she's definitely a flirt . I mean, she puts her photo on the outside of the package for everyone to fawn over. Quote
GallardoLU Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 so have you found out if she is single? does she have a sister? Quote
jingram Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 To be fair, we don't even know they have a love of Lego in common. (She could be selling an ex-husband's Lego sets that she won in the divorce settlement, just to get back at him.) Quote
