alohamitsu Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I am trying to create a nice sized model of the character Luffy from One Piece to give as a gift to a very good friend of mine for either his birthday or Christmas gift. I am sort of new to building with no instructions and was hoping if anyone in this community will be able to give me some advice, tips or help! I will deeply appreciate it. :) Quote
dr_spock Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Google, Bing, Yahoo... LEGO Luffy from One Piece to see if anyone has made already out of LEGO for ideas. You can use LEGO Digital Designer to test build virtually if you like digital tools. Or draw out your model to scale on paper and test fit LEGO to it. I usually have the vision in my head and slap bricks together until it looks about right. Quote
bemuser Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 is it for a 2 dimensional representation, or an actual 3d model? Quote
alohamitsu Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 I think I would prefer it to be 3D model but not completely opposed to it being in 2D though I want more of a challenge lol Thanks for all your tips so far everyone! Quote
alohamitsu Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 I guess I would say around the same height as Emmet's Construct-O-Mech Quote
