recifaliste Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Hi all, In first, accept apologies if this question already exist... But i didn't found it about. So , i'm a mac user, i built on bricksmith and i really appreciate it. Some instructions are just available in lxf file format. Like Ghostbusters HQ V2 or MOC bat wing from lego movie theme. Did you know something able to read and open it on mac? Reasons i would start built the HQ ^^' Many thanks , see you soon friends Quote
NathanR Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Hi recifaliste, I'm not too sure what you're asking here - the lxf files can be opened by Lego Digital Designer only, which is available for the Mac (http://ldd.lego.com/en-gb/download). If it's instruction manuals you're after, lego customer service has most of them listed for download, you just need the set reference number (http://service.lego.com/en-gb/buildinginstructions) Hope this helps! NathanR Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Ah, I see. Actually you may find LDD a bit easier to use than bricksmith as it lets bricks automatically clip together, even if there are a lot of complex angles involved (e.g. multiple hinge plates connected together) good luck! Quote
recifaliste Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 after long time to update it i finally launch !!! many thanks , now i could open lxf files :D But at use, lego digital designer it s a real nightmare for me first idea, Bricksmith stay much better.... You save my life , thanks Quote
