grum64 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 (edited) Good Evening All I've just bought a 7237 Police Station for my Grandsons but as is to be expected for a set of this age the battery in the Light-Up Policeman Minifigure (973cx6) is flat. I fear I may already know the answer to this but is there a way to open up the minifigure without damaging it to replace the battery? If so what battery does it take & where (UK) would I get one from? I'd appreciate any help or advice. Thank you. Edited April 2, 2015 by grum64 Quote
ER0L Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 I don't know if that's possible but you may buy a new minifig with working light via Bricklink - might be easier than trying to find the right battery. See http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?pg=1&itemID=52762&sz=10&searchSort=P They do seem affordable. Quote

Hi I'd tried looking on Bricklink using the 973cx6 id but nothing came up so I pressumed there were none listed. Maybe I made a mistake when typing. Thanks to the info you've given I'm now spoilt for choice so thank you very much for taking the time to help. Quote
vidarf Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 I have NO idea if this applies to the cop, but maybe? Just googled "lego cop045 battery replacement" and that video came up. ;) Batteries for the SW figs are CR927 according to the video. Also, one of the comments states that "you can push in the two holes under each arm". Don't blame me if this goes badly. :p Quote
