oirad 72 Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing great! Once a year I travel to London for work reasons. It's a city I simply adore (not only because there is a Lego Store, lol!). While walking I found this pub near the Tower Bridge,, called The Blue Eyed Maid and I instantly fell in love with it! The color, a blue/purple in contrast with the typical english bricks is just amazing!. And since I am a tattoo artist myself, i wanted to recreate a tattoo and piercing shop above the pub. I really hope you like it. It was so much fun! Quote
eurotrash Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Fantastic job mate! It's good to see some old school windows being used and that facade is excellent - you've really captured the essence of the place. I love the floors - NPU for those headlight bricks. (and coincidently I've had many, many lunchtime drinks in that Pub as it was very close to where I worked near London Bridge back in the mid-80's, but I'm certain it wasn't purple then) Quote
Orange Leader Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Beautiful facade and great use of 1 x 2 plates! I like the peek in the tatoo workshop. Quote
Darkdragon Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Excellent build. I love the details and colors inside and out! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Unusual choice of colours but it looks great in the end. Fine tattoo shop too. Where are all these tattooed arms, legs and backs from? Quote
gazumpty Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Superb build...quality in every area! I love your facade details and the use of the different subtle colour changes of plates to achieve the brick effect! Your interiors are brilliant too...colourful and full of activity! I have to say it.....yeah I do..... "Where are my Pants!!??" Yeah sorry bout that... Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 AWESOME modular ;oirad 72', the colours and detailing are wonderful.......Brick On 'oirad 72' ! Quote
pirzyk Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Very nice MOC, I really enjoy the snot work for the pub's floor. Makes for a refreshing design. Where are all these tattooed arms, legs and backs from? The arms are from the motorcycle mechanic series 10 collectable minifig. I'm guessing the torso and legs are from citizenbrick.com http://citizenbrick.com/products/ink-enthusiast Quote
cgarison Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I love the details on this build. And now I know how to use those "feather" pieces from my Chima sets from a couple of years ago. Keep of the great work! Quote
Razi Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 So pretty and stock full of features! How did you the floor in the tatoo parlor. Quote

spanky Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I know one of the tattooed arms is from the series 10 motorcycle mechanic Quote
Vindicare Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Wow! First off, that floor in the bar is amazing! The outside is a cool build as well. Looking like they built up & around the little bar. Very cool. Quote
Gouniaf Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Usually I never step a foot outside the Star Wars Topic. Was puzzled by your topic title. And I'm definitly not disapointed ! I love when a MOC tells a story, and yours is like a comic book. I'm impressed buy the quality of this creation : The floor, the windows, the flowers on the wall... everything is great ! You did a really nice job ! Quote
alois Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 One day I'm gonna steal your floor designs. They look really great. Quote
jalemac34 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 How we say in my country: "c'est magnifique" Quote
xtremeteamuk Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Love the tattoo shop. Great detail. I like the dropped curb on the corner, neat detail. Purple exterior doesn't look out of place at all. Top job Quote
