chuychu Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 I didn't know where else to ask, but does anyone know where to purchase a box of unopened minifigures? Especially series 13. Quote
MAB Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 You can often ask in a toy shop, and people sell sealed boxes on ebay. Quote
chuychu Posted March 26, 2015 Author Posted March 26, 2015 You can often ask in a toy shop, and people sell sealed boxes on ebay. eBay is a little sketchy for me. I'll try asking one of my local toy stores. Moving to Special Themes forum. Thanks il give that a try Quote
kibosh Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I bought a who;e case from eBay. It was a very smooth transaction. I have a complete set of CMF 13s left if you are interested. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 It depends on where you are located. Here in the Netherlands, I know there are several webshops that will sell you full unopened boxes, and I reckon the same is true for some other countries as well. You can also find sellers that have them on Bricklink. If that does not work you can always try to just ask in the local toyshop, selling a whole box is probably something most places would allow if they have them in the back. Quote
chuychu Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 Thanks but I went out and got 32 bags. Ended up getting all but 3, paleontologist, snake charmer, and of course the hot dog guy. Quote
timmyc1983 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Yeah I think Bricklink is your best option. I bought an unopened box of series 12 from one shop a few months ago. Really easy and no problems at all. I recommend Bricklink :D Quote
fred67 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I've been buying whole boxes from Ebay since series 3 and have yet to have a problem. The only drawback is that I often have to wait maybe a month after the figures are released in stores to get mine, but I'm a patient man, so that's not been an issue. If you order early enough, it's also at (sometimes a little below) cost, and free shipping from the seller I've been buying from. Also knowing what the counts will be from WhiteFang's reviews allows me to go to the stores and pick out the few extras I might want early on. I will likely start reverting back to hand picking them at the store, but that is not without it's pitfalls, too... I don't think I've seen anyone get a hot-dog guy in the store after the box has been opened. I'm not a huge fan of hot dog guy, but I would still want one for my complete collection. Quote
